I ran her for a bit, she was very nice, delicious taste, easy to grow.
I'm not one to keep cuts, so... she's gone. I did chuck a little Apollo pollen on her tho. ;)

I thought it was just SnowDawg. Super?

No, it is the cut, just two different runs, one in heat, one in winter. ;)

It was given to me as Chemdog's new strain he was working on before all the unfortunate stuff happened to him.
Such strong chemdawg genetics and tastes like candy.

Nice shots, HL!

Candy is some flavorful stuff. Floppy plants, prefers to be grown HUGE. I agree that she takes on that conical flower shape like the D when she's real happy. Great for hash. More appealing smell than most Chems, but I'm still getting that Earth/Pine from her:)

lol, that makes sense - ive seen chem crosses def. lean towards one side depending on mitigating variables....

I've noticed it to sometimes lean towards snowdog , in it's smell in mid flowering ... Smelling quite sweet at certain stages & looking more like snowdog also ... Making it easy to tell apart from the Chem D's in the same room .

Then at other stages of flowering it can start looking & smelling much more like the Chem D's sharing the space . To the point of being unsure or confused at times if it's chem or candy chem ( if unlabeled ) ... & I'm talking same plant / same crop . It's never a problem ..& it's totally obvious half the time & always easy to ID in late flower . While I haven't grown tons of Candy ... I have known the Chem D like the back of my for quite sometime .. So I always kno which are the Chem D's . & I do label btw .

I wonder sometimes if Chem hybrids try to mimic the genuine Chems when grown in the same room .. I've observed that a few times with the chem crosses also . Read the secret life of plants if u think that's crazy talk .

As for the smoke / flavors of Candy Chem .. It tends to remind me of an old school skunk on the exhale .. Sometimes with more sweetness underneath sometimes less . Although I can also relate to Melting Pots comment of "Earth / Pine" .. As I've detected that once or twice in past batches .
