Canadian Export now Flooding Canadian Market

Here around where I live is a huge surplus of vietnamese weed. I think this is because the USA and Canadian dollar are about even, so all the stuff shipped to the USA is now staying here in Canada. It isn't worth the risk to ship it over the boarder when their profit margins are not as high. I have noticed in the last three weeks more and more weed being available cheaper than ever offered before. We use to pay $2000.00 for better than average 'Beasters', and now I have been offered it for $1600.00 a pound!

I guess this is good news for people in the USA whom have had enough of this low quality commercial Canadian weed.

My question to all of you in the States is, are you noticing a decrease in 'Beasters' and 'Vietnamese' weed being available in your area? I understand there is probably a large reserve that has to be first depleted, so it is probably to early to notice the effects. But here around the Toronto area 'Beasters' is everywhere and cheap cheap cheap!

Any input would be greatly appreciated as the market has always interested me.

around here Toronto...We call that shit China or China bud. This is the most commom type of bud around except for peoples own grown outdoors at the end of season. Goes for around 1800 a lb and a shitload cheaper if you get em by the bulk.Theres huge grow ops busted every week and its always asians. I hate that shit, smoked it a couple times when i was younger and diden't know any better. Nasty taste, not cured, shitty high, and horrible burn out.Only people that smoke that shit now is high school kids or the people that don't know any better. Im actually glad the cops are clearing them out as best. They give people like us bad wraps. :badday:

When people pay prices like that for 'beasters', it keeps the stuff coming in truck loads. Only way to stop it is to stop buying it - but I can understand it's hard when there is nothing else available. I think this bud will last another year or two and then we will see a huge decrease as more and more people refuse to buy it. What we need is a good supply of primo to take it's place. Better yet, grow it ourselves.

My vietnamese friend says his sales are going down and it's only a matter of time before he is out of business or changes with the times. Personally, I think he is stuck in his ways and doesn't realize you have to adapt to the market to survive.

There is a huge market just waiting to be filled, so it is only a matter of time until someone (organized group) fills it and reaps huge rewards. Vietnamese bud is on its way out. I must say they did well for the last eight years, but now times are changing.

Its still around like crazy tho, and when people start not wanting it prices will go way down, which will force them to realize either to learn how to grow properly or grow some better shit! either **** em i don't want it
