kinda surprised, thought we'd be in the high 90 cents but this is like the 1970's again
anyways no real debt, all the resources in the world, makes sense to me with our strong economic policies.
Oh Ya

O

Ontariostoner

Dropped some cheddah on beans in past few days.

Nice change from couple years back, when 20 U.S. cost me 26 Cdn

I just got $32 U.S. cash for $33.27 Cdn at the bank (those pirates always take a little sumthin' for their trouble)

And Cdn prices at SBoo are cheaper than U.S. prices

I think it's a bit of back and forth with pricing at the border. Some goods are much cheaper while others not if you take into account duties and travel costs (in some instances)

It is much cheaper to mail order depending on the exchange rate but then again doesn't the bank take a cut?

so the whole cost issue is in perspective the USA gets a 25% discount from the saudi's on oil

so since every good is transported on trucks using gasoline we pay more for shipping and transportation costs, as well think of all the petroleum products on the market all made from the same material on both sides of the border but again their petroleum is 25% cheaper than ours so again they win
300million to 30million do the math they will win every time

so until our dollar is 1.25 where probally better off to shop in the states

If that is true, then they have no need for Canadian oil now.
Thats great.
I see no point in Canada always giving Americans discount prices for our natural resources, and yet charge Canadians more for the same resource......till no resource is left.
