CAN66 Installation Question

I recently purchased a Can 66 carbon filter from HTG and it came with a 6" flange. However the flange doesn't appear to have any easy way to secure it to the filter. I was thinking I could use Aluminum duct tape, or perhaps gasket sealant from the automotive side of things.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to attach the flange to the filter?

Thanks!

well usually the flange comes with screws and one of those rubber seal that you have to stick on the flange but I didnt bother using it. I screwed mine in and actually had to add sillicone cause the flange was croocked :(
now I wouldnt really suggest screwing it on there. just simply only use sillicone which is what I should have done in the first place.

I used the 6 self-tapping screws and foam strip it came with and it looks good so far, although I'll probably use some duct tape come flowering time just for added piece of mind.

i used foil tape around the inside and around the outside. although i wouldn't recommend this, i held it by the flange with 1 hand and 1 hand under the other end to carry it downstairs after i taped together. that foil tape is strong shit!!

I wiped surfaces with alcohol and use Gorilla Glue. That holds it solid like it's welded on. Why oh why can't they make the f###ing flange already attached?
