After transplanting, I waited a day and fim'd them. They're recovering slowly but steadily. I'm happy with their progress considering I'm only running 6 lights atm. I'll add 6 more in a week or so after I see what results I get with the current setup. Then I'll have to up the power to my fans also to keep the temps low, but that's a piece of cake.

I'll try to get some pics up in the morning, although there's not much to see.

The microwave was originally going to be a clone chamber I love how they shut up so tight. Hey so if I wanted to check how much the fan controller is drawing, I'd do the same thing with the multimeter as for the lights eh? If I turned the fans off it should give me an idea what the LEDs and whatnot are using.

Some interesting info I found out the other night, apparently the UN is passing a law on 31st December this year that classifies anything organic, any vitamins, any minerals and any food that does not carry Monsanto's suicide gene as a poison and will ban them without approval.

You will have to get a prescription and go to a chemist just to get vitamins and mineral supplements.

The sale of anything labelled organic will be banned and so will any seeds not made by Monsanto.

This is a law that affects every country.

yes canna, this is some screwed up nwo shit...I'd recommend stocking up on vitamins and seeds and such before then ( I've begun to stockpile various food seeds btw). Just like how cloves got banned in the U.S. and no one knew about it until after it happened. It's all a big scam that benefits only the large corporations.

OT. hey scrub is there anyway you could run a voltage test on pc fans run by basic dc adapters? I'd love to get some kind of idea how many volts we're losing in the conversion of ac->dc to run pc fans.

Sorry if I take your concerns lightly btw, I know it's a serious issue for most.



It's growing...growing well, it would seem. I have it almost touching a bulb and it has touched before, no burns (bulbs are stone cold even with fans on minimum). The leaves take on the angle of the bulb, it's cool. This grow is going to rock the house.

alot of the leaves are directly against the red bulb, the edges turn up a little but no burning or drying out so far. In the first pic, above the lock you can see a leaf with a little heat stress. I think it's just a deadspot in the airflow. It's not really causing any damage to the leaf so it's no big deal atm.

I have alot of work left to do on lightproofing. The lightleaks have a cool effect though, they produce lines of the different colored light on the wall...kinda trippy

Hell yeh tis is great man. I left a few ccfls at a friend's house to run some voltage tests on, when I went to pick them up he had them hanging vertically in his grow LOL. It was cool the plants had turned and focused around the bulbs. It put quite a smile on my face to see him using them and the turning of the plant leaves in just a week!

I'm hoping to get a row of spears on either side of the case and maybe some overgrowth up top growing sideways along the ceiling.

Apples, I was just reading back and realised I forgot all about testing two bulbs, sorry. I'll try and get that done. I think I found a 12v timer for the lights.

Of course bro! they're quite common things really. Oz has a lot of remote situations and solar setups etc so 12v stuff is pretty common. I think this is the same as my friend uses except I think he paid ~100, this is 70 delivered. What did you mean about the fans man? Did you mean check they're using the amps they say on the sticker?

hmm well I meant, when we use DC adapters we lose some efficiency. I guess some math would have to done but....yeh basically see how many more watts the fans are pulling out of the wall as compared to what the sticker says.

I'm kinda high I dunno if I explained it right....if you don't know what I mean then nevermind, I'll do it eventually. Just somehting I was curious about.

Alright i'm trying to understand... *thinking* so you want to know wattage difference between AC fans and DC fans? Or are you interested in the wattage ate up by the AC to DC inverter? Explain and you'll have an answer

The friends and family had me hostage all weekend for my barfday. Forgot to water my girls, they were pretty pissed but are ok.

Just put one of my girls in the ccfl box 5 min ago. Shes prob the weakest looking one, so this will be interesting. Still need batteries for my POS cam.
