Can ph down go bad?

Look for color change to yellow ish from clear.

Should be odorless.

If stored in dark cool conditions virtually no expiration,
but many will agree past 18 months from purchase, no good.

Does the container have an expiration date stamp, I wonder.

I don't think it can go bad. Unless water got into it.

Try it on baking soda. If it fizzes it's still good.

I have a glass container I use to boil water in the microwave for coffee. Every couple of months the calcium buildup gets too great to see through the glass.
A tablespoon of pH Down fizzes the glass back to brand new in seconds.
I was worried about contamination and have a leftover quart of pH Down I use instead of vinegar for some cleaning chores. Talk about powering through basic accumulations, gloves and glasses required.
Three years have no effect on potency in the fizz testing.
