Can i start LST? also another pair of questions

Hi, can i start LST with this or i should wait to let her grow more?
Also:

Does she seems healthy?It is normal that she is so "dense"? i have a bit of a temperature problem that i will fix next week as i get an A/C unit.

That is a sensi seed super skunk, how shoul i let her veg? right now it's 20 days age.

Thanks for the answer, hope it's not a problem i started a new thread instead of posting in the "temperature problem" one i started a month ago.

I wouldn't start bending her yet. Depending on how she grows maybe not at all, Super Skunk is a pretty bushy strain.

The plants look ok but that internode spacing is really tight as you point out. The heat has probably stunted growth. Good that you are dealing with that issue.

Thanks a lot. So if it doesn't grow too much should i not bend? doesn't that put a hold on the yeld?

I personally do not LST them over until like a week before flowering...
So I LST them over, let them settle in a little, then flower them, and from my past experience, you get an even canopy that way..

But everyone has their own little methods and it's like nutrients, ask 10 people what kind is the best, you'll get at least 9 different answers...


That strain looks most Indica to me, and in my personal opinion, you want to top Indica, then LST it's arms... Right now you're only 20 days in, so that's 7 days seedling stage, and 13 days Veg, usually on a mostly Indica the topping (if you do that) and LST does not start until about the 3 week to 30 day mark..

Right now i am trusting a friend, i've given no nutrients and i'll give just some Alga Bloom on flowering.

I've germinated the seeds 4-5 days in the moist cotton, then planted. I'll not top i want to do the Wire thingy as they are my first growts and it will pain me to cut or smash them (if that is topping, or else i don't know a lot what i am talking about).
So this strain i think it's 4 week veg right? so another 1 week then i can start the LST if i am correct.
What do you mean by "LST the arms"? i've seen teh LST guide here on ICMAG and there were a design on how to do it and it was like tieing them orizzontally but i don't know if it's good for my strain as it seems to grow mostrly large than high.

Thanks for the help really, i have a low resistance to panic and seing the temperature going to 33C i started to panic so i found an used A/C that i will get next week, and i saw a pair of white spots on the leaves i assumed there were mites and i panicked again :D But they were only little burns i caused when watering (lens effect).

Thanks a lot guys, i don't know how could i have done it without you, and if i manage to get something and not ruin all i will thank you all forever :D

if they were my plants i'd bend the whole thing over n tie down , just do one and see what you think, goodluck.

bend her over, don't break her, ye know what to do, just be gentle, she'll still be a little loose in the medium, use some wire n drill a small hole in side of pot hook her half way down and pull her gently,,,,simples,,,,goodluck.

tie the high part of the plant down to the far side of that pot now, I've got 5 plants 8 weeks old and I LST'D the shit outa them, there is no more room for wire on the side o my pots, the only thing that I noticed was that they slowed down a little, but I have the bushiest plants that I've ever seen, i'll post some pics tomorrow in new growers, goodluck.

Hi, i'm nearly at 4th week (tomorrow is the day).

I've read super skunk has 4 week veg and 2 month flowering.
Can i start to put them in flowering next week?

Also, in the last photo, what are those marks? some lens burn from humidity? or something worse?

The marks on the leaves look like burns from misting plants while under the lights. Try misting or spraying your plants with the lights lifted up a little higher then lower them back down after the plant dries. Or spray and mist just before lights go out, but keep an eye on humidity.

if you refer to the cut, i did that when training her :D Or do you refer to other markings?

I have a mist humidifier that sometimes wetted the plants, i tought it was it.
If you refer to the little little white spots, those are from also the humidifier (i changed it) as i used normal water it misted also the shit in tap water.

So, not to pressure i still need an answer on veg time :D Can i wait a couple more week or should i do as seed bank says and stop in a few days?

I am quite in a hurry so 2 weeks less would be appreciated, but if yield would be 1/2 i can wait some time to let it veg better :D
