this is what always gets me-the guys at university who can get hash all day in the ME want buds-trust me-your better off with the hash and you don't wanna spend your days in the pokey

Hey Vermonster..............Just read your post and felt compelled to respond. My SB order was paid by credit card,as I heard this was the quickest possible way to get your beans.Received the "order confirmation" in my e-mail and the "order sent" confirmation in my e-mail. Order sent October 1 2007. Never came.No green letter.......NOTHING. Been doin this for years/no problems.Not worried about cops and all that paranoid rigamaroll,never had a problem........and now THIS?............I was told of a postal strike in the U.K. and that my seeds may be sent back to where they originated from/ the SB..........OK......so how is a postal strike in a country I DON'T LIVE IN my problem? All I know is I gave someone some credit card #'s,they took out the cash, and I'm left with a whole lotta nothing..........Over 2 hundred dollars gone.I would have been happier to get the green customs letter because then I'd have "closure".....I would have proof that they were sent and on their way and it was just "bad luck" is all.............This is terrible! Hope no one else has to go through this. Not knowing what the hell happened is FAR WORSE.............Peace

hey bob, you sailing or what? yeah well i have actualy gotten a few PM's from people who have said the same exact thing, some have even gone as far as to say that once they piped up about it their accounts here on icmag were closed....i have also heard a good deal of people say they happily receive their seeds. i have ordered from seedsdirect several times with no problems, i would have used them but was under the impression that the same crew of people are running the bay? and i trust whoever is running this show and those seed companies so i tread on thin ice about even saying anything negative, especialy since they probably need to keep my money and not send seeds less then i need a hole in the head so.... however i have never lost mail in my life, or had things intercepted, and i have shipped all sorts of illegitamate things to all sorts of places, shit when i was on tour we would ship things to our next hotel to avoid driving with them! the worst part is the not knowing, like i said in previous post the place they are going is basically a vacant apt so there are no worries and considering my profession i am not gonna harp anything uder a K but it's weird, maybe my post man is a thief?! baby steps i guess.

THEN.............as if that's not bad enough, now we're rolling into December and guess what?...........The lease is up and it's time to move..........to a NEW ADDRESS...............A new address that the SB DOESN'T have right? They told me about their postal strikes and that some of their customers seeds were arriving back at their place months after they had been shipped/ that it wasn't uncommon........WHICH WAS GOOD NEWS TO ME, MEANT THERE WAS STILL HOPE...........But now I have a different address and as hard as I've tried I cannot get an e-mail through to ANYONE at the SB. I tried sending an e-mail message from HERE yesterday and got the "Failed attempt" message in my mail box..so I'm like...........wtf ya know?If my order did come back they would send them out to the WRONG address because I cannot contact anyone to let them know what's going on.Talk about frustrated man? Jeeeez.............Well.............won't be the first time I pissed away 230 dollars but... .then again.........I got laid and had one hell of a time so I guess I can't compare THIS to THAT.............I wonder if that postal strike is still goin on over there? What do you think? I'm thinkin about pissin away some more money......LOL

YEP.......IT SUCKS! I guess it's another "Wait & See"? I'm a big fan of SB......never had a problem before.Excellent service/germ rates.......the whole 9........biggest bummer is it took me SO LONG just to come up with the money for the order ya know? Money is SO hard to come by that when something like this happens it's just plain ol' depressing......

whataboutbob.....Since you paid with a credit card all you have to do is call the credit card company and dispute the charge on the grounds that you never received the product. You can probably even do it online. They will give you an instant credit. End of problem.

Paying with a credit card has a huge advantage in these situations. The downside goes back to the post talking about proof of soliciting. They have water tight proof if you pay with a credit card. Lets hope that the seed company was not stupid enough to include your credit card receipt in the same package as the seeds!

You most likely won't get a reply immediately on the 7th, so don't take it personally, they just get backed up. There is usually a rush of deliveries during the holdiay season and mail often gets slowed down. This is a good thing to keep in mind, as you might want to wait to get worried. Hopefully the seeds are just takin a while to get to ya.

Wazup B.D.? You know what.........that NEVER crossed my mind.Calling the cc company and telling them I never got the product...LOL...........I guess the reason it didn't was because I kept believing that they WOULD arrive EVENTUALLY, Ya know/ I'm still hoping they will show back up at the SB? PLUS..........(now I'm just guessing here....so no one quote me or anything) but...........if I were to do the whole credit card co/ I didn't get my shit routine, wouldn't they go after the SB......as that's where the charge originated from? I certainly don't want to rain on anyones parade or get anyone in trouble and would not make that claim until I knew THAT 100% ,no one gets heat! I wonder? hmmmmmmmmm? It would be cool to be reimbursed so I could re-order......that's for shure.........but still.........I'm not sure what the cc co. would do and my gut feeling is THAT act would be throwing up a red flag, ya know? As far as the SB placing a cc receipt in with the order, no worries..........They are too smart to do something like that.No need to ship a receipt when the charge will show up on your monthly billing statement,right? You are not going to rain on anyones parade. The credit that you get from the cc company is pending. They will inform the seed company of your claim and then it will be up to the seed company to prove that the shipment was received by you. If they do not or cannot they will get a charge back to their merchant account (that means the credit card company takes the money back and gives it to you). If the seeds were confiscated by customs you are still good since they are obligated to deliver the product. Even if they advertise a disclaimer saying that they are not responsible for confiscations you will still get the money back because seed companies can never tell their merchant banks that they are selling something illegal else they would close their accounts. For that reason the seed company will not contest a charge back but rather stay quiet and let it blow over.

My emails are not getting through..........AT ALL...........It's not like I get an automated message once inside their system saying ,"Hello due to the holiday season our offices will be closed..etc., I'm getting a message saying "The email is not being delivered".I was tring to contact them way before the December 22 cutoff date TOO, after all, my order was shipped October 1st! I dunno? Hey Yamaha............ would you try sending an email from inside the SB and see what message you get back? See if you get the "Undelivered" notice or not? Maybe there's something wrong with my computer..........it's possible I suppose..........IF you DON'T get the "undelivered" message and you get through, then one of two things has happened........my computer is messed up.......or I have hit the "complainer" list......LOL........ :spank: I'm hoping you GET the "undelivered" message....Thanks man...........Bob :wave:

Emails are received...just not replied to till staff returns....must send to one of the following (depending on where ordered):

SB has received returned packages as much as 4 months 'after' it was originally shipped...sorry but we simply can not be responsible for the mail handling once an order is posted.

We simply do not address order enquiries on the site here...will have to contact support staff via email. This thread was taken off-topic by a couple of you, so, thread closed....address your order enquiries in the appropriate manner by contacting support.
