CAN FILTER AND AIR FLOW

yeah the way it's currently setup, you are pulling air from the very cool room, through the lights then blowing that air out the scrubber. The scrubber just is not really being used to clean the grow room air with that setup. You will also get better ventilation through your lights without it, cooler lights = closer lights.

I like ur schematic. I notice it would require 3 of my fans leaving one remaining. If I were to use that one fan to move air through the filter and out through the roof, do you think that one fan would suffice?

I don't have specs or cfm rating on any of this stuff, but the label on fans say they are 2420rpm.
Yes my main concern is with odor as someone has taken notice.
I am on my second all-nighter getting this room corrected.

Thanks Ecb!

Practice makes perfect.

For extraction here is a vasic formula.

Light watt / 2 + 30%

So 6000/ 2 = 3000 + 30% = 3900m3 extraction. I will look into this some more. Writing from mobile right now.
Happy Growing!

You can also just try using just 2 extractors, do some reconfig and just see what works best.
Trail and error is the best learning when it comes to setup.

I am just away to setup a couple of tents nothing will be happening in them until I have the environment set up and controlled how I like it.

1-2 weeks time ;)

Those two weeks will feel like a year..haha
Yeah been working all night...The two intake fans overpower the one exhaust outtake fan so I'm gonna use one intake fan with a Y to both side into another Y at the end of the line and out the exhaust.
If you have any thoughts on that please feel free to share and good luck with your grow!
Thank you.

Still overpowered flex hose is filling up faster that exhaust can extract...so going with ur original plan except I'm gonna use one intake and two exhausts with a y.
Thanks man.

In figure 3, you could use straight metal duct with 2 elbows. A lot less static pressure=more flow. Flex duct gives static pressure out the ying yang. Good luck. -granger

Instead of using that formula I would just go with approx. 250 cfm per 1000w with approx 70 degree intake air. But cfm will vary depending on intake air temp.

3900m3??? what the heck?

3900m3 is what I would recommend for extraction from a room with 6 x 600w lights. I would not necessarily say you want 3900m3 running through your reflector hood setup though.

7000m3 if you are really having heat problems ;)
