Ridiculous, by this definition gg4, og kush, gsc would not be considered elite.

Its not the early 2000s anymore most elite clones are pretty wide spread. There is ppl that totally whore them out when they get them. Certain clones are still on lock but it seems as soon as some ppl get them they trade them to anyone for anything.

Yeah it's an overused term now. I consider true elite plants to be ones that have stood the test of time. Nowadays lots of newer strains are considered so but they are more just popular strains that got hyped. Gg4 and gsc are both nice plants but I wouldn't put them in the same category. I'll reach for ecsd or my oldschool bb sativa before either of them.
