Calling mini split ac experts...

I got a used mini split off of craigslist for $500.
They guy I bought it from was a tech and he gave me precharged lines with it.
24,000 btu works for me because I'm right at the ocean.

Does the formula account for seasonal temp fluctuations? I never understood how a properly sized a/c in winter, when I'd imagine the outdoor temp help the unit to cool more efficiently, would be properly sized for summer months when its much hotter? I am a high school drop out though! LOL

It asks for average summer outdoor temps.
By going with that, no need to worry about winter.

It says a 2 ton should do it. no matter which temps I choose? My unit must be old? Although over 100 degrees is as hot as it will allow you to choose. Not sure if it means 110-115?

If I input high temp numbers, I get a message that says to call them.
Maybe they need more specifics to give a better estimate?
