California Orange (Nirvana) Smoke Report ===~~

Strain: California Orange

Breeder: Nirvana

Appearence: Dense, light green, silver look to it from trichs, some purple, and of course dark orange hairs (9/10)

Smell: Fruity, Skunky, and Citrusy (8/10)

Taste: Very citrus (orange/lemon). The taste is awesome and is one of the best smokes I had so far. I smoked a joint the other day and it was quite the experience. (10/10)

High: The high starts off quick and hit hard with a zony feeling. 20 mins later you snap back in reality and realize that you were zoning. I like it for the daytime smoke. Good for cookouts and chilling with fam and friends, or should I say very social bud. (9/10)

Overall: I enjoyed growing and smoking California Orange. This strain is well worth the $20. It's easy to grow and she yields well too. If you like tasty bud then pick up some Cali-O and you won't be dissapointed. (9/10)

In 2000 I got some California Orange for half price from The Flying dutchman shop for the skunk 1 x Durban they sold me that wouldn't even sprout. Unfortunately their cali-o didn't sprout either. Thanks for the tip about the obviously fresher Nirvana stock. I was just wondering about Nirvana because they said they would just buy my seeds that were from Arizona one time and I know they buy seeds from growers. Do they have specific strains that they breed themselves and other's that they just get from random growers who come in the shop and say they have something cool? I always wondered about this. does anyone know.

Cali-O is carried by alot of seed companies. The genes are made up of Thai/Afghan x Mexican. Nirvana is probally the cheapest ways of getting some Cali-O.

Yup, love the Cali-O. Just grew it myself. Nice sativa high for me, orangey smell and lots of hairs that turn orange. See my report in Dried and Cured as well as my grow report.

I am really glad you did this report. The other day I was looking for some new seeds and everything I wanted was either too expensive or out of stock. I just got the Nirvana Cali-O on an impulse and I am waiting for them to arrive. I paid like $20 USD and the price was so cheap I thought I may be disappointed. I love Cali-o. It clones really easy. A very underrated strain. Here's a pic of Nirvana's Cali-o I grew under fluros. good high, truly one of the great classic strains.
