Calif. pot dispensaries told by feds to shut down

Of the 12ish people I know that have " cards", one truly benefits from it, has Parkensins. The other 10-11 do it so if they get pulled over, they are not commiting a crime.

Which is what bugs me about the whole thing. Gives true Medicinal users a shitty deal. Most around here are truly not sick that go to these hole in the walls. They use it for a pass. I agree with you boss.

I elected to not get a card long time ago. I got pulled over by Highway Patrol. He smelled my joint, asked if I have a card. I told him that shits a copout and an excuse. We shook hands, complimented each others mustaches and warned me about my traffic violation.

everybody should have a choice, no?

you get to be righteous; they get the good selection.

totally biased view on presidents and marijuana since that list has continued to grow & evolve as our laws have....

that chart makes Nixon look like a flower child in comparison to obama when 'ol tricky dick was the one who began the attack on americans now referred to as a "war on drugs"...

not backing obama on this at all... but like most "statistics" and "charts" they are biased and only spotlight the drafters views and feelings...

Good points. Haven't seen too much non-biased advocacy from either side. Scientific/medical studies excluded, of course.

An accompanying article threw Obama a little credit. Seems his comment he wouldn't spend JD funds on folks abiding their respective state laws is accurate. Apparently even MPP thinks the feds are primarily going after profiteers.

NsaneSk8er? He's a dumb ass.

Public education has been around since the colonial days.

Nsane sounds like a cheerleader for right-to-work laws.

he was reffering to this book, and how perhaps say in the last century public education has turnned from teaching and learning, into dumbing us down to be used as tools for the elite.

Then why does insane skateboard dude say

"public "education"was founded by jpmorgan and jhon d rockerfeller"

The author, Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt was a public education administrator until she joined Reagan's Dept of Education. There she learned the dumbing down of America was intended to merge the US with the USSR. Reagan fired Iserbyt. So naturally, (according to Iserbyt) Reagan himself was in on the merger conspiracy.

Or, was Iserbyt herself being duped?

Did you know the author's dad was a member of Skull and Bones? :yoinks: So was his dad.

Here's a secret. Many conservatives hate public education. If revisionist history doesn't get the job done, spooks come out of the box.

And libraries are publicly funded institutions... Oh the horror!

shit... outta rep.

good one cobcoop.

You two socialists should watch "Real Time with Bill Maher" This weeks episode (air date 10/15/11) had Penn Jillette come in towards the end and discuss his view of libertarianism. Mr. Jillette stated that in his view government force should only be used to protect a society from force (rape, murder, invasion, etc.) There should be no guns pointed at me or my neighbor in order to build a library for your spoiled ass or stupid kids.

Oh the horror of having guns pointed at me so you can have your 14.8 trillion dollars in national debt.

Glad to see I am just a slave to be worked for your projects, how about you guys supervise and tell me what wonderful social programs you'd like to see built on the backs of others.

it seems she was kindof a whistlblower when she figured it all out

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt is an American freelance writer who served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education during the first term of U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and staff employee of the US State Department (South Africa, Belgium, South Korea).[1][2] She was born circa 1930. Her father and grandfather were Yale University graduates and members of the Skull and Bones secret society.

She is known for writing the book The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America The book claims that changes gradually brought into the American public education system attempt to eliminate the influences of a child's parents (religion, morals, national patriotism), and mold the child into a member of the proletariat in preparation for a socialist-collectivist world of the future[citation needed]. She alleges that these changes originated from plans formulated primarily by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Education, Rockefeller General Education Board), and details what she says are the psychological methods used to implement and effect the changes.[citation needed]

In an interview[2] concerning secret societies and the elite agenda she disclosed that in the early 1980s she had a chance to meet with Norman Dodd who had been the chief investigator for the United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations commonly known as the B. Carroll Reece Committee. In the video she claims that Dodd discussed a 'network' of individuals including Carnegie who planned to bring about world peace by means of rapid changes in society. These change would be brought about by involving the populace in various wars and military conflicts. She further claimed that Dodd had discussions with Rowan Gaither, the president of the Ford Foundation in which he revealed that directives from the President of the United States compelled foundations related to the Ford Foundation to direct their funding into bringing about the merger of the USA with the Soviet Union.[citation needed]

Mr. Dodd, we are here operate in response to similar directives, the substance of which is that we shall use our grant-making power so to alter life in the United States that it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.

— Rowan Gaither, President Ford Foundation - 1953, Transcript of G. Edward Griffin's film interview with Norman Dodd - "The Hidden Agenda"

Filmed interviews of Iserbyt have her detail her story that lead her from school board trustee/administrator to becoming a Ronald Reagan administration staff in the U.S. Department of Education, and discovering further to her complete disbelief how these policies of a socialist-collectivist nature originated all the way to President Reagan, Vice President George H. W. Bush, and their policy advisers.

Up until 1960 Reagan, a leading member of United World Federalists (whose purpose was to merge America into a world government), was a charter member of Americans for Democratic Action. Reagan was also a member of the National Advisory Council of the American Veterans Committee[3] that was supposedly "under communist influence."

Not listening to warnings provided to her in a book about Ronald Reagan (as California Governor, written by United Republicans of California (UROC)) given to her by friend, Iserbyt dismissed the seemingly outrageous claims made in the book a short time prior to her accepting and leaving for the government position. Reagan fired her after she was able to read and then leak an Education Department policy book containing and demonstrating reprehensible communistic influences.[citation needed]

Through her father Charlotte Iserbyt was able to gain possession of the complete listings of the members, living and dead, of the Yale University Skull and Bones secret society, fashioned into a three-volume set: living members, deceased members, and complete listing of both[citation needed]. She cooperated in the writing of Dr. Antony C. Sutton's book America's Secret Establishment - The Order of Skull & Bones by providing the list of members obtained from her father.[citation needed]

Fifteen Yale juniors are invited to join the Skulls each year.[citation needed] A couple of thousand Yale graduates have been Skulls--WASP males from wealthy Northeastern families: Bush, Bundy, Cheney, Dodge, Ford, Goodyear, Harriman, Heinz, Kellogg, Phelps, Pillsbury, Rockefeller, Taft, Vanderbilt, Weyerhaeuser and Whitney were among its membership. Office of Secret Services, then Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) heads have been members. Wall Street lawyers Sullivan and Cromwell had among their partners John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles, the Dulles brothers -- both also members of the Rockefeller Council on Foreign Relations--Allen, fired as CIA head by John F. Kennedy, sat on the Warren Commission to investigate JFK's death.[citation needed]

Iserbyt believes that the Bavarian Illuminati hid inside the Freemasons, and that the Skull and Bones Secret Society is derived from these Illuminati-degree Freemasons from Bavaria whose goals were documented in an original edition 1798 book Proofs of Conspiracy by John Robison in Iserbyt's possession that she claimed was originally owned by the first president of the United States of America, Freemason, George Washington. The ideas of a ruling elite date back prior to Plato's writings about the hierarchical plutocracy. Among the goals of the Order of the Illuminati were to destroy religions, and governments from within, merge the destroyed countries, and to bring about a one world government, a new world order, in their secret control.[citation needed]

In the secret societies interview she states that virtually all of the Carnegie Foundation agreements with the Russian education system were still in place, as well as the U.S. Department of Education programs that Iserbyt claims brought about the downfall of American prosperity since the turn of the century, especially post World War II

I think its funny how the media has convinced you people that the puppet/poster child Obama is to blame for all the worlds problems.... rather to see who runs our country and makes policy...all you have to do is see who donates the most money to both the Republicans and Democrats.... its one group....and best believe it's their agenda that shits on your dreams/hopes... All Presidents have been funded by this one group...

Bottom line is this... Marijuana negates the need for alot of medicine you can buy in a pharmacy...so it'd make sense...just like back in the day when DuPoint pushed to make Cannabis evil and bad...that these powers are up to it again...

Media/Goverment/Pharmacy/ you name it ...they are all part of the same circle that run the world... Media Barons have you thinking that social programs are what put the US in its current position?? Damn thats a shame... we could give every American full coverage healthcare with zero issues and buy them all housing if we needed to and not even feel a dent in our pockets...but when companies like LockHead Martin rather our goverment spend its entire budget on war materials...then damn...we stockpile trillions in weapons....we use them...and need to buy more....thats where all our money is....

United States is the numero uno big dawg in the world when it comes to slanging weapons..your not allowed to be bad...only we are lol karma is a nasty when its bites
