True but I doubt cannabis cares and to be honest there is a lot of genetics out there that will herm on you if your grow is anything but 95%+ perfect and i still think he probably does get picked on as if he is the main problem in all of this seedy biz and i see sensitive genetics everywhere.
I've seen herms caused by anything from large air temp swings(cold nights), watering with water that is cold enough to shock the roots, micro nutrient toxicity, major nutrient imbalances, topping, over watering, under watering, not enough light, getting blown too much by fans and hotspots also seem to help stress them enough..
It isn't just light leaks and timer fuck ups that can stress the plant that much, and at the end of the day they know very well they aren't outside when their indoors, so it is just a case of having to remove as much stress as you can as a plant is always more likely to herm indoors.
And seems to me that cannabis growing outside is so stress free that light in their night cycle doesn't affect them at all but 100% will make most things herm indoors, i've had my share of timer deaths.
