Coffee fans!

Check in and share your creations, comments, questions, and suggestions!

My wife is a barista/cafe manager and I am the at home amateur hobbyist

We have a La Marzocco Linea Micra and a Niche Zero grinder (not my pic but same color)

And I drink espresso and milk beverage every single morning, sometimes a few per day!

How about you?

Does ICMAG like coffee?

This week I have been trying out these beans which boasted strong strawberry notes, but sadly, I get almost zero berries in the taste nor smell. Very strange choice of them to advertise it so boldly when it's anything but

My wife has been trying to teach me some basic latte art

Let's just say it's been VERY slow going and still a work in progress 🤣☕

Today's handiwork:

That's some expert equipment you have there :)

Espresso with milk? Sure thing, 99% of the time. I have tried a lot but sticking since 15 years with "Caffé Mas Rosso", 90% Robusta and I highly recommend trying it if you are into Robusta or just want some tasty and most tolerable coffee.

Other than that 100% vietnamese robusta would be my favorite.

What coffee are you putting into your luxuary machines? :)

It's a shame there's no way to like posts in these forums, I wonder why!

Thank you for checking in!!

I can't say I am familiar with those brands but I can check them out on Google! Here in Canada I don't see too much Robusta outside of the supermarkets these days. Most local roasters and small cafes usually mention Arabica instead

I currently am trying out these beans from a roaster here in Ontario

They are supposed to be strawberry-like but I don't get much of that at all unfortunately!

Feel free to come check in and post your daily coffees etc !

Have a great day!

I use ground coffee in a coffee pot - let it steep then drink it.
Heck yeah, many different ways to go about it - much like growing!

If we are talking drip & filter coffees then we have a Chemex jug and filters, and just use a kettle to boil the water just like this

we use a Melita one cup pour over but I like the looks of the Chemex , especially the 4 cup jug

any other ideas on something small like that?
