I think the algae would have little effect on anything, it's a pretty small amount right there. Maybe worst case scenario is the algae starts competing with the roots for nutrients and water but you'd have to have masses of algae for that to happen.

But I'm no expert, it could super mutant toxic algae for all I know

My 1st indoor grow I used 2 and 3 liter clear plastic soda bottles. They ended up with some algae as well. I, however did nothing and let them finish. The algae did not seem to effect the plants at all.
So algae is not neccessaraly bad.....

Greenhead, I would recommend tying the Trainwreck cross down. The other 2 are very indica, but the TW is a spindly snakey bitch. It is about 75% sativa, and is one of those crosses I haven't tried yet. VF just finished the P-91 cross and the BBS. Most of the crosses are indica looking, but among the moms, the AK, Dynamite and TW are the sativa doms. All 3 needed to be tied up, as they could not support the weight of the buds. They have a lot more stretch in the first couple weeks of flower and will be the tallest during veg. Those Cheese should stretch too.

The Trainwreck mom is very branchy, but I veg for 8 weeks and put them in flower at 48" to 54". The longer you veg, the less stretch you seem to get.

When you cross plants, you just never know what you are going to get, often not at all what you expect. I have made 16 crosses and wish I had space to try them all out. I very much appreciate the growers who have tried the crosses and have given me info on how they turned out.

I grew the 91 in a slightly larger container-6 gallon trash can. It grew a large main cola and had chunky smaller buds. Not much on taste but it packs a buzz. Long lasting. My wife likes to mix the 91 with the F2's. I gotta admit...that works. lol

By limiting the pot size, the plants are getting rootbound and controlling the stretch. You are right about keeping the same size containers. It is hard enough to dial in several strains without worrying about pot size.

Greenhead, I would suggest the AB x PD and ST#3 x PD. Really good flavor on the AB x PD and the ST#3 x PD is kind of a creeper. Nice smooth smoke, but you don't think it is potent. A few minutes later, your face gets numb. A few minutes after that, you have trouble walking. I am waiting to see a smoke report on the TW x PD and Chronic x PD. You are the very first person to ever do a grow report on them. I would like to grow out the C-99 x PD myself, but have way too many strains to grow out. I am growing landrace hash strains to check them for CBD content. I have Chinese Yunnan Indica going now and have Mazar-i-sherif, Sherberghan, Malana, Pahari farmhouse and hindu kush #1 in the wings. Also have some moroccan hash strains coming.

Hi Pops ! Yes, I've heard a lot of good things about both AB and ST #3, so I will definitely be trying them out. The ST #3 sounds extremely potent from the way you described it, maybe too potent for me, but I guess that I will find out, lol. I'm not exactly sure which kind of weed is my preferred yet, but I like to be able to function at least, even if I smoke alot. I often smoke weed for creative purposes, I dabble with music every now and then. I plan to try every single one that was on that list.

Those hash strains that you're growing, does that mean that you only make hash from them and don't keep the buds ?

Looking great greenhead, cant wait to see those SWTxPD, i hope you do a log those are the one's i've been dying to see!

The Blueberry Skunk had a decent yield and a nice smoke. Doesn't put your johnson in the dirt but a nice smoke. My SWT smell a little. I need to get them into flower. But other matters first.

Greenhead, I am growing for my son who has ALS. He cannot smoke anymore, as he cannot flick a lighter. He has no strength in his hands. I may get him a vape, but probably I will make a paste like Rick Simpson uses to treat cancer. I may make hash oil as well. It depends on what he can take.

For creative work, I suggest the C-99 x Pd or the PD F2. The PD is "giggle weed", a happy high. Vetus Fosser has grown the F2s and can tell you about them.

The cheese is looking good! I'm guessing another 2 weeks on the Chronic x PD. possibly that for the Trainwreck and maybe a week to 10 days for the p-91.
