:tree::shark:Cut & smoke the bastards C99 is a quick finisher 56 days & by the looks of things you have plenty of amber trichomes on the buds. Enjoy the fruits of your labour bro. Looking good & juicy. "MMMMM"

I have only grown Moscas f1 and I have to say that both the early and later phenotypes are fine herbs in the jars. My choice of keeper would hands down be the late pheno. It had by far the best yield and the buzz is super. It has a more subdued terpine expression than the earlier phenos do it seems. A full three weeks later than the early ones.
The late pheno had very rich milky white trics with fat heads for nearly the whole last thee weeks. The very first amber tric heads were very easily noticed. That is when I chop.

Flushing....
It is my opinion that flushing times are subjective. If the solution you use to flush it initially an ionic fluid that will bind to the salts, then it should not take more than a week or so to flush most any salts taste that may be noticeable if not flushed at all.
I like to use Clearex for the first flush saturating with the solution for a bit, then flushing that out with clean water. Water from then on out.
Any ionic solution should work...sugars like molasses or something like hydrogen peroxide will help to bind the salts for the initial flushing. The latter insures oxygen supply to the roots while drowning things.
Thanks for the suggestions and your c99 experience. I have also heard flushing with a mild nute solution might be more effective than clean water.
I think we can all agree on that! lol...

I'm sure yul figure out what's best fer you in no time. You should post up yer preference for the folks that read this in the future.

It's a tuff job, but somebody's gotta do it! ;) BC
Yeah I will post what i think about the different harvest times. It's not that accurate though as there's three different phenotypes.
c99 is supposed to be 'UP'.... I definitely don't like late window cindy....... I harvested some at 41 days today... lol... should be racy!!!!!
Thanks for your input.. :) I smoked the day 52 bud and it was very good..
55-60 days
That means my harvest window is just opening today, this sunday is day 55. The plan is cutting down one plant today and one or two plants @ day 61.
by 52 days i cut mosca c-99bx-1 and it sent some people crazy so paranoia or super done take your pick
Well i smoked a day 52 bud yesterday and it didn't make me paranoid.. i can see how it could be uncomfortable if i had smoked more though, very powerful high.
Bust out the scope and harvest when trics are milky and a few clears left. Great head high a lil racy for some.

If you wanna tone down the racy a touch and increased smell and flavor no more then 10% amber.

If that does not do it. You should just pick another strain to grow.
I'm gonna do both.. one plant today (mostly milky) and one or two next week..

Thank you..
are you all talking 55 days from 12/12 or from first pistils?
My C99's showed pistils in veg so yes on both... if you flower before pistils show it will take longer..

Some well established clones will carry preflower pistols most of their life. Even with these very viral clones it takes a few days (7-10) of flower to bring about pistols in new growth areas, like at the tip of a branch instead of at the existing nodes which always carry them.
This will be a very consistent thing from grow to grow with that particular clone. The time it takes for one of it's siblings to flower could vary.
Preflowers does not mean it is in flower.

C99 is one strain where a slightly early cut almost makes it more enjoyable, for me anyways...although typically I don't like much if any amber in my trichs, so take that as you will. Judging only by your photo, I would say that assuming you have flushed well enough, you could probably stop watering and chop it in a couple of days whenever you're ready. just my .02 :tiphat:

I am growing pineapple C99 myself right now and have been wondering when to chop it down. Sitting at 45 days and I don't even have a single colored hair yet, looks like my pheno is going to go in the 60-70 day range.
