Congrats for such bountiful harvest Fronk :)

Really appreciate your frequent updates, efforts and patience to bring this one until the very end. Curious about your smoke report after the curing and how the terpenes finally translate into the nose and taste. Have a lovely weekend!

Here's my C5 x KC at about 5 weeks of veg. I've never grown a plant with as long and spaced apart leaf fingers as this one has, especially indoors in a small pot (this one is a one gallon azalea pot).

Going to toss it into flower as soon as there's space in the flower chamber (2-3 weeks). I hope it ends up half as good looking as the others in this thread.

What a pleasure to see the fruits of yr great work. Nice & frosty nuggets, hope the smell has improved with drying.
How do you rate its potency so far?
Many thanks for the show, so very much appreciated.

This one looks pretty C5 dom considering its leaf shape. How does her stem smell when rubbed? Sweet or more spice?
Keep us posted!

I usually am bad at describing stem rub smells, but I'd definitely place it along the "spicy" continuium, beyond the typical "plant" smell. Definitely interesting morphology, unlike anything else that's running right now at my place: longest petiols, longest leaves (I've got mostly Latin American genetics running right now).

Hope this isn't off topic too far, but the leaves do remind me a bit of the Zapotec I have running currently, on the right in this photo

Hi Breadwizard :)

Glad to see you are also testing the new C5 Haze x Kali China.
Anticipating quite sativa expressions based on the morphology of your plants.
Please, keep us updated. Thanks!

Thanks Dubi! I think this girl will be really special. Here's a few shots from this morning. Don't mind the damage on the lower leaves, it's neem damage from fighting off a spider mite infestation. I hate the things, and made the concentration a touch high. These were put into flower about 3 weeks ago.

Here's a progress shot. Some trics are appearing, smell is root vegetables and earth currently, with a light sour end note. Still early days so I expect it will shift a few more times.

Super potent, uplifting, super energetic that takes a lot of mind power to focus on specific tasks.
Definitely anxiety if abused. Very complex high.
Tropical mango flavour with little incense, balanced.
Unbelievably smooth and really thick smoke.
You’ll love this one if mentally stable and you’ll probably hate it if not.
It’s serious weed.
This is the most dangerous one for me out of the 3 I just grew.
Thanks Sammy and Dubi.
I am keeping this one too.

Thanks Fronk for the great smoke report! :) much appreciated.

You are right, very little incense in this new hybrid as far we have been able to test, but it produces very complex and interesting somewhat new terpene profiles, mainly creamy fruity, and not the more typical Thaish lime/lemony C5 Haze terpenes or meaty incensey from Kali China found in both strains. Strong genetic recombination regarding terpenes on C5 Haze x Kali China.

Glad you found an interesting girl of your taste for further use and breeding ;)
The smoke and start of the high is smooth and kind, but later becomes quite complex, strong and long lasting ala C5.

Sour cantaloupe scents on this one on previous weeks.

Exactly that’s why I think this one is a little more dangerous for me (creeper).
Good one to impress big indica heads haha.
“This doesn’t do anything “.. haha
HPHxKC is the same I think.

Nice Repuk.
I reckon you’ll enjoy this one :tumbleweed:

C5xKC, I think this one leans to the C5 looking at the leafs. The hairs are just beginning to turn tan/brown, so closing in. Wish it looked half as good as some others in here.

Scent has started to pick up some tropical fruit, like astringent green mango with a citrus tang, not lemon/lime though, more like a sour grapefruit?

willing to @Fronk! thanks! She's drying....

@Breadwizard I'd say by looks and bud structure she seems to lean more to the KC side... maybe 50/50? You'll know when smoked... :yummy:

Looking super yummy and resinous!

How many weeks into flower? 9-10? Looks like she will be ready soon
