I think a 250w will work for u put a cool tube would be a must.
I run 300ws of light with out a cool tube but i have about 400cfm of fans and a blower
Im going to be upgrading to a 400w cool tube setup after i fin my scrog

bostrom I only ask because with a reflector, your bulb is in the correct position the way it is now. I do not know if running without a reflector changes that concept, but I would leave it the way it is (and add a reflector)

trying to shove a cool tube in there would make my head explode, 4 inches on either end for ducting would give me 14inches to work with rofl, and the top is packed with stuff so I think I'll probably end up going for a 150, I'll see how this grow goes, if there's space issues than I'll modify the cab, if everything works then I need to rework the intakes on the bottom and get a proper light traps so I can use the area for mothers and clones.

Hoping to have 2 mothers in the bottom and 4-5 clones at any given time, maybe 2-3 flowering up top.

I'm going to rework it a bit to make it a little more user friendly and move the carbon filter and fan into the top portion, that way if need be I can get the light all the way to the ceiling if need be.


Sigh.... Cabs are always a work in progress for me, I'll probably spend at least another 100$ or so to modify it exactly how I want, and then I'll probably want to change something else...

Chaotic, you could also spend that 100 dollars on a mini veg cab and use your current setup for flower only. Or spend the 100 dollars on a new cab (bigger) and use the current one for veg. I dunno though. Depends on what equipment you got layin around or how much money you can spend.

hey fellow c13ers. i have 6 nirvana bubblicious in 3 gallon grow bags in my c13. would it be better to ditch a few so there is plenty of room or keep all of them packed in there?

can't go bigger for both lack of space and security, I've been thinking about building a seperate veg cab but I'm so anal retentive that it'd have to have good ventilation carbon filters, totally light proof, damn near silent. basically I'll spend 60-70 hours building it and about 200-300$.

If I can up the light to 150w and keep everything under control this grow than I'll rework the ventilation in this cab and utilize the lower level, if I can't keep the temps down and it becomes a space issue than I'll have to build a seperate veg cab.

I'm thinking the latter is probably a better option in the long run, I'll add in some ventilation into the main cab and build a veg cab, but I'm just thinking out loud...or thinking out typing...or something...

I can understand spending a few hundo, but 60 to 70 hours is crazy....you can build a cab in about 5 hours.....and I thought I was maticulious haha

It's not a 13, but a close cousin.
I'm going to reverse the bulb so it's pointing to the wall insted of out the cab, it blinds me and the light will be distributed better too

you have thebulb the correct way, if you turn it side to side light distribution will be confined to the length of the lamp since you dont get much light from tip and socket ends

Its the same way just pointing to the back wall instead of the doors

what is the largest documented yield out of a c13? if you do not know for sure then give us a guess. i know there was some guy on overgrow claiming a pound but his pics never added up.

i know for a fact i have seen at least 7 ounces come out of a c13 from pinecone on og. i was just wondering if there was any higher.
