Sorry for the absence, a big storm came and messed with the cable. It was a great time for no access to the news since everywhere was-is underwater. My phone was still working but I'm not efficient at moving pictures around with it and my big ass fingers hit multiple buttons at once so typing is difficult too.
Two more C Bananas are confused but it seems to be on the wane for now . I just did ball patrol this morning and only found a few.
These plant are still in the stretch , star I saw you asked how long they have been flowering...they are right at 21 days. couple of shots of the nodes.
This is the lanky plant, Might be culling this if it persists

I noticed this on the very bottom branch.

Here is where they live .There is a stack next to them on the right ,they get more light in a few days. One of these is going for the ceiling. It's got to be over 5' now and stable so far.

So that's where I am with this, 4 plants, 2 confused but stabilizing for now. Not much for smell yet just young cannabis
Lost power or other stress??? Or balls showed on there own???
This has been a subject discussed for years. Some have found plants that where what we consider male in fem seeds.. I found a Male in Peyote Purple. This line was fem but released as Reg do to the males found. If the plants do not exhibit female parts I would call it a male.
If u guys are suspecting Nuts just make sure u are 100% before u call it.. I find what I think are male parts often that are not. I have some in now of others that I think are male but? If u are only seeing nuts make sure u also have female parts to call it.

No stoney, these plants have all been female with added male parts for extra excitement. I have culled two plants because they had a lot of male parts in a lot of places but predominantly female.
I never lost power during the storm and my room has been as constant as I can keep it, 75 lights off 82 lights on. No interruptions, no deviations.
I gave these plants their own light , in a multi bulb room like I said with steady temps, reasonable air exchange and a steady diet. They share my room with 13 other plants that show absolutely zero inter sex traits . Best conditions available as far as I know, that I can provide.
I have not culled a plant with single nuts ,only multiple balls in a cluster.

If I got a pack of c banana s1 I would find one keeper then use riots reversing sex spray and make a shit ton more to try and select for a male even if I had to run 1000 it would take time but be well worthless it imo. Stash found a fee males in his orgnkid oger kush and a friend of mine who s1d the chocolate thai and he found a male out of 100 seeds. And there are tons of people who will disagree about calling them a male they insist they r herms

I have all 5 of mine in flower now and getting stressed out by root aphids atm. We'll see soon what hat stress brings to the table.
The definition of Hermaphrodites..

Could it have been a packaging problem? You know what is the most likely cause? Also, can a plant with inter-sex traits show only one trait dominantly and the other only under particular circumstances?

i got Five C-Banana clones ... i think i'm going to put them under a lamp and 12/12 them...unless there is another east coaster whom wants one, but they have to come get it i don't send ....
I cant say what happened to those PP seeds. Those where made by CBG. There's an old thread where Tom hill, Chimera talk about this.
Sure that's what stress does. Some plants dont take stress well. Sometimes they want to make seeds before death.

As for intersex, I was wondering if you could get an intersex/herm from seed, that shows only male flowers predominantly? Or else how does one get a male from S1?

Chimera may be good to talk to. Riot has experience with this which is where he gets his female to male ratios so if ya gotta fb or go to his website and email him I'm sure he wwon't mind educating you. He is always a good dude to talk to when I have questions and he's not ever an ass to me about it. Very smart dude

here are my C-Banana S1 clones ... i only wish i had taken one from each individual plant ... these are from two plants, not the seven i got going... the phenos are identical except for one which is significantly bushier ... i may go back to grab a cut of that one, even though it's moving into the flowering stage...

It is not possible to get a true male from a selfed female. In cannabis sex is determined by the presence either two X chromosomes for female, or an X and a Y for males. A selfed female can only create another female as both gametes carry the X chromosome.
An apparently stable female (or male) can, however, carry genes for hermaphroditism, which may be expressed when selfed as the genes are halved and rearranged during meiosis. This can lead to the expression of genes which were otherwise hidden.
If someone finds a male in S1 seed it is an interloper; a seed created from stray pollen.
Any cross made with Female pollen wont produce a true male.. I cant say if its from stray pollen there's not much info regarding this phenomenon. When I had that discussion the conclusion was these plants are Highly intersexed.
