I am contemplating buying a new 2008 Z06 corvette. Is this a dumb move since it costs more than I make from legit work in a year?
Well most LS's dont drive z6's as a toy but hey whatevea right......its your thing bro. My bike goe 170+The Son of Man said:I run a landscaping company--mow lawns and cemeteries mainly. So nobody really knows how well I do. It wouldn't be a daily driver--just a toy. I don't want it to flash but to go fast.

Well good luck going fast on a exile chopper. If you had problems leaning a CBR over then have fun on a fat tire kit. . Gotta respect whatever you're driving/riding. I got a Ti elbow from the same prob you spoke of on the bike. I got back on and laugh now that I crashed on that turn. Its not going fast its stopping on a bike thats hard or atleast bleeding of speed. I now understand engine braking and lean angle...doh Just wish I had full use of my right arm still. Lesson learned but I still ride it on ONE.The Son of Man said:I had a cbr 900 and damn near killed myself the first day out. I was flying down the road with some buddies and I was going to fast for a corner--went right into a damn field. Smashed the bike up real good. Road rash is a bitch. As soon as I got better I fixed the bike up a little and sold that damn thing. That bike would do 62 in first gear before it red lined and I only had the balls to go 140 on it the first day and last day.
If I were to get another bike I would probably have to go with exile choppers. One of those kit bikes with the fat tires--real clean.
Yeah but a GN isn't gonna turn or look like a C8. I mean those are great cars but its comparing old and new. Not fair.Boostnitup said:Why spend so much money for a car that can get beat by a 1987 Buick Grand National?
Makes no sense to me... but to each their own.
