Butter/rso

I haven’t made butter in a very long time. When I used to, it was from my indoor and was just the larf. The results were always great and I never decarb’d it as it was baked in cookies later.

The problem I am experiencing with my first outdoor is the larf ended up with pm and some bud rot that all went into the freezer. Was going to make butter and RSO but am a little scared with the butter.

Wanted to see if anyone had some input on the issue.

No don't use weed that has mold on it because it can turn into something harmful. Don't try and cut off the green part and only run it because mold grows deeply in the plant tissue and can't be seen yet. It's growing all over the plant hidden from the naked eye waiting for the right conditions to sprout and grow.

On the next grow choose preventive methods to help keep mold at bay. Outdoors raise the growing bed or plant on mounds for better drainage. Use plant seeds that are resistant to fungus and disease. Choose sunny areas with good airflow and not blocked by any kind of walls, fences, or buildings. Minimize the amount of soil amendments you use and not fertilize close to flowering time.

The "roots" of plant mold are called mycelium. Mycelium is a network of branching, thread-like structures (hyphae) that form the main body of a fungus, essentially acting like its root system. AI

well if its only PM, do a hydro peroxide wash, rinse, wash again, rinse, and if u really want to be safe , do a lemon water wash and rinse... mold... shit-can....

i have tried to grow outdoors for years, and have always gotten mold at the end of sept, so have given up... actually one year i did grow a couple of haze plants, which didn't mold at the end of sept, but needed another 60/90 days to mature, so that was a non-starter

Might I be so bold as to recommend the auto amnesia from real gorilla? I had them out in mid may, done by end of July and around 5.5. - 6ft tall.
Very nice smoke 👍

yep my son says do some autos... i mite next spring.... thanks
Copa Genetics, fast finishing ( NOT AUTOS). Made to survive MA ( short season/high humidity). Hypoclorus Acid ( agrolyte or danolyte). Can use IPM by Athena ( but expensive). Earth’s Ally 3-in-1 plant spray is essentially the same thing. Or make LABS ( no molasses) and EOD evening sprays. I’d still use one of the other as preventative.

I live near Lake Erie.. we have extremely high humidity during first 5/6 weeks of flower.

yep ... where i grow i am surrounded on 3 sides by water... i am fine all season till around sept 20... the sun is not as strong, rises a bit later, the moisture stays in the bud longer, and the end result is mold... add on that in the woods we have a very large tick population, throw in some chiggars and u are left with an indoor grow... and to me indoor weed can never measure up to a good outdoor weed ... the sun adds something to the finished product

The sun produces cannabinoids that an LED can’t produce….huge difference between outdoor and indoor…outdoor will make you forget the keys are in your hand while sitting in the car and it’s on auto start

Gave a friend some outdoor white rhino years ago, then he sat at the traffic lights watching them change colour seemingly forgetting that it actually meant something.
We did laugh 😆
