When in the last 45 years did Medical Marijuana become more important than Recreational Marijuana. Don't get me wrong I am glad marijuana helps sick people. But let us keep it real. The main reason most people use marijuana is for recreation. We should be fighting for legal recreational use not medical use.

90% of people with marijuana med cards have them so they can grow and smoke weed for recreational use. NORML started all this med talk and the sole reason was so it would lead to legal recreational use. It was a mistake. It put recreational use behind med use.

It is complete bullshit. Hippies and freaks first loved the weed. Weed will always belong to the recreational user before it belongs to med users. If there is enough for both fine. If there isn't then we hippies get it first. End of story.

NO IT'S NOT...IT IS HARSH...BUT SOMEHOW Med users think they are better than some of us who could do time for 5 or less plants just being in the wrong state. But, we are all still in the US last time i checked. I think his post is 98% accurate. 2% Med users..puff puff pass.

No, and for that i am thankful.
They knew who's show it was, and i accepted full responsibility for it. My wife has never been in trouble for anything, so i would have hated to have to worry about her, on top of whats happening to me.
I can handle the time, her, i'm not so sure. Nor should she have to.
The garden was my passion, my project, my obsession. I am not a fool though. I realize fully that if they wanted to, they could have dragged her into this nonscence as well. She realizes that she's lucky, and so am i for not having to live w/ the guilt of dragging her into my shit.
Either way though, she wouldn't have blamed me. I'm sure of that.
And i guess you could look at it from this angle as well. If i go to jail for a couple years, thats a couple years she has to deal with everything on her own.
It sucks either way IMO.

even a perpetual grow with just 1000 flower and 400 veg can end up with 30+ plants to keep it rocking.

Maybe you could ask for legal leads from organizations that are interested in fighting for our overall freedoms like reason.org or cato.org? I would get out the phone book, find attorneys who specialize in criminal defense, and find one who is a former prosecutor if possible.

Drag the case out as far as you can. Three or four years filing motions. Then, when your att. asks for more money, tell him you have none. Then get him relieved from your case. Ask for a court appointed attorney, and stretch it out further. The new att. will have to ask for time to catch up on the case. Take it to trial, if you lose get out on an appeal bond and ride it for as long as you can. The clones will have withered up and be an indistinguishable piece of whatever by then. Have them bring the evidence forward to show an appealate court. This will be like six years from now. You will NEVER do another day unless you plead guilty.

You should be all right. Read up on Federal appellate court decisions. The roots on clones have to be enough to sustain life, I believe. Fight it and I am quite sure the most you'll get is less than a year of halfway house/home confinement/ankle bracelet type of sentence.

I just read the Federal guidelines. Each Plant is counted as at least 100 grams. 78 plants would be 7.8 kgs. 7.8 kilograms puts you in schedule level 14, with no priors is 15-21 months. Get it down to 50 plants (Level12) and your talking 10-15 months, down to 25 plants (Level 10) and your at 6-12 months.

Should be able to at least get it down to the Level 12 with 5 months halfway house/ 5 months home confinement.

More reading....even if you had more than 100, you can be eligible for relief through safety valve code 3553 (f) if you have no more than 1 criminal history points, no firearms involved, and did not supervise or involve others.

Plus, if and when you decide to plead, you get up to 3 points reduction for pleading guilty.
199 plant grow in these circumstances would be a level 13 (12 to 18 months)
