Burn and Turn Anyone doing it?

Been playing around with a few things at my farm. Is anyone here doing the Burn and Turn method? 7-10 day veg from rooted clone straight into flower. Plant numbers are not an issue for me so doubling or tripling my current 700 per room. It was developed by Floraflex, but I am using my Athena Pro line to do an initial test. we usually do a 3-4 week veg in a separate veg room and then into a dedicated flower room. this system eliminates the need for a veg room. rooted clone into 1 gallon pot, Veg for 7-10 days(strain dependant) 24 hours light to promote strong root building, then flip the room to 12/12 and let them go! It's looking interesting so far in the test tent. 13 days old today from rooted clone. just flipped them 8 days ago. 1st pic is a rooted clone and current plant at 13 days older. next pics are the tent with 16 Ice Cream Cake plants in it. The other pics are of my temporary veg room.

Sea of Green it is called. Rooted cuttings 5-7 day veg and then to flower. 96 plants to a 4x8 flood and drain tray is what we used to do. Good method and has been around for a long time.

Good luck with your grow!

Yep, sea of green… probably the most efficient method if there’s no worry about numbers. All top bud too 🥳

What is your goal?

At that scale you grow to sell it, so I guess you want to make profit?
Then you should consider that clones are expensive. Is it cheaper to veg them a few weeks than quadruple your cloning capacity? Why not just increase canopy area?
The easiest path to profitability would be to stop paying for water and marketing. Toss the boutique fertilizer and switch to dry salts. You can even make an exact copy of the current stuff if that is what you wish. Consultants are available to help you.

No, this is not SOG, similar but this is something new. I've been growing for over 3o years and tried all types of methods, this is different. 24 hour light for 7 to 10 day, not reg veg time. Eliminate the veg room all together and veg and flower in the same room. Also I am the head grower at Best of best Cannabis in Thailand, We have a 2000sqm grow facility. So this would be to eliminate the veg room and add another flower room to increase year end yields for the whole facility.

yes, we are a fairly large facility. 2000sqm. clones are free or relatively cheap to me so that is not an issue, neither is plant numbers.

That is exactly what I am saying. Take clones out of cloner. Veg 5-7 days 24/0 in flower room and then switch to 11/13 or whatever you flower at. No veg room no transplanting. Been doing it since the 90's. The right strain makes all the difference.
Not my pic but good example of the SOG..
