I just put 10 of my 32 very old Burmese (pure) seeds into wet paper towels. Hoping most will germ, gonna make lots of F2's. My seeds maybe old but I take very good care of them. I also have 10 Blackberry Widow (JoJo's) girls, all with purple flowers, making lots of F3 seeds. I am making Stuporsonic F3's I've got 4 nice girls getting ready to pump out some seeds. Keep ya updated. Later, Stash

Well I got 8 out of 10 (pure)Burmese seeds to germ in 4 days, maybe all 10 would have germed if I waited a few more days but I'm happy with 8. Seeds were very old and very small, I would rather work with large fat seeds, my eyes aren't what they use to be.
I didn't want to make seeds on my Red Snake plants but because I have so little space they got hit with Blackberry Widow (JoJo's) pollen. I would not have let it happen if I could have done something to stop it. My work is to bring back the old strains, not to make crosses that I don't have the room to do it right.
Making lots of Stuporsonic F2's seeds and BlackBerry Widow (JoJo's) F2's seeds.

Greetings,

I grew some VISC Burmese that I liked quite a bit. Sugabear's buds look just like the ones I grew. Fat leaves, very heavy stem, the flowers were solid and chunky, but stretched a bit and got somewhat pointy. There was slight hermaphroditism when I grew them indoors. Funky body odor and perfume aroma was dominant. It had a great euphoric feel good high in low doses, but got intense and a touch trippy at high doses.

I crossed the plant with some long time pollen chucking seeds I had. I love S.E. Asian strains, and strains crossed with Thai have been added over and over for many years to the seeds I crossed to Burmese. Since then, I've crossed it to Trainwreck, which also has Thai in its heritage, Mexican x Afghani x Thai or something like that. I've been growing these for the last few years.

I have been finding winners that have that perfume and lemon aroma. I tested a good one from last year, and it had a high amount of CBG to it, as well as almost 20% THC. Here are some examples of the plants I've been finding:

Here is a skinny leaved male that I found this year:

I'm saving it because it was the first to show its gender this spring, and it has the lemon and perfume aroma. Occasionally there are some hashy myrcene smelling plants I find that I generally avoid. I like energetic and cerebral highs.

I wouldn't mind having seeds from the pure Burmese strain again. I think it is quite valuable for taming the longer flowering exotics that I have.

Bump! lol.... Having high hopes for these Burmese I just germed. Hopefully I can preserve these genetics in some form or fashion. I've been warned of hermies, i would love any insight into this if possible guys!

I ran Burmese from Brazilian seed company. harvested oudoors when the buds were crunchy feeling on the outside yielded some exceptional smoke. I let one plant go much longer (amber) outdoors and the high was extremely depressing. it was horrible to smoke 'cause I felt so bad emotionaly from the high effcts.

going amber for indicas is fine, but it can ruin a good sativa's high effects ( strain dependent). my oaxacan red was the same; great smoke high effects and terps when crunchy, diminished desired high effects and terps when let go longer.
