burmese pure budshots and macros day 60 of flower

Well here we go - I grew this one from seed (reeferman) I got a while back (the seed that is). veg was like 3 weeks and she's been in flower for 60 days now, gonna go around 65-70. Grown DWC hydro in 2 gallon buckets with GH floranova, floraliscous, and fulvic acid under a 400 watt hps in my millspride c-25 wardrobe height cabinet.

These are I think some of the best pictures I've taken. I use the lowly cannon powershot a430 with 3.3 megapixels and a super macro mode with the tripod I don't think it comes out bad at all considering I bought this camera for around $110 usd.

same bud a little closer

and now really close

and let's see a hand held bud shot too

and finally a full plant shot. as you can see in the upper left corner buds there has been some light/heat damage - she don't tolerate very very bright light to well so I've been trying to pull these back as much as possible and a fan is blowing directly on them to stay cool but still there is this bit of light bleaching - oh well - were almost near the end anyways..

edit: tried to do the insert of a big picture thing here and it didn't seem to work for me. I just got these image tags so now I'm inserting the gallery links... any feedback on how to do this correctly next time appreciated.

hey jaws - thanks for the compliments, these are some of my best pictures yet. I remember 3leg very well. He and I both contributed to a burmese thread on the old OG and I remember he was doing some work on it too. It is too bad he's gone. On the burmese I would say it is a must have for any hoby breeder out there and likewise for all consieurs out there. I made a cross with an indica from oregon (oregon90) using a burmese pure stud and the results have surpassed my expectations. She lends a special smell, flavor, and feel to the high that is unique and wonderful. This plant was my last seed and I am making some f2s for myself to keep this strain in my collection for a while.

Here is a blast from the past ! I am working with this gal now very excited to be bringing her back !
Many have said my Burmese was the same as Vancouver island seed company's its not there burmese might be related but has much darker colored flowers with red hairs .
The strain I have been working with for well over a decade has lighter green flowers .
Smell and terpene profile is close but the plants are very different .

I was very excited when a guy from Nanaimo I have known for 15 years came to visit and I asked "is it like my old Burmese ?" he said the cut came from you man so it better be !
He also gave me back the god cutting from way back .
You ask and you shall receive so everyone will be able to enjoy this lovely strain once again .
Its one of my favourite smelling strains while fresh its just so lovely floral I don't really know how to put it into words .

Jordan's Ambrosia and God's Green Crack are a staple for many dispensaries in Vancouver and Victoria as is Ken's Nuken, for what thats worth... back in the day, I seen a 1 pound plant of Golden Burmese on Q island, grown by a friends mom, in a 4' deep x 4' wide hole with darn near all day sun...it was epic and as punk's we would pinch a couple bud's in the name of " mold patrol " ha

I grew a Burmese seed line sourced from Cali in the early 90's that was dark green/purp, squat, and wide leafed. Had the most unique flavor and a beautiful blissful high. Then years later received a reef Burmese pure cut that had the same crazy flavor and high. The pure cut was, lighter colored and less vigorous and barely finished outside here so I ditched it. I would love to get her back and do my own selections as im sure there were better. Stoked you'll be working with her again Charles.

I see one of sugabear's threads have been resurrected. He crossed that Burmese to an Oregon ? and I grew out some of those Oregon Burmese. thanks suga! Loved it. Looked a lot like the burmese pics in this thread.
Funny, cause I just popped 6 Oregon Burmese I crossed with a MoD (remember MOD?) the other day.

The cutting I got back is tired so I will be doing some work with it I actually had zero germination on my seed stash , I have seed stashes from way down south to Europe and a couple in Canada hopefully I can get her back into form .
It seems strange that she would not finish in Cali she finishes in BC OCt 10-15 although in a greenhouse I will let her go until Nov 5th .
We grew literally tons of Burmese x Blackseed down south I have the blackseed gals thriving now so you might guess what is coming .
The Viper is a super vigorous plant that takes its full smell from the Burmese but gets great size and stretch from the Mexican dominant Blackseed a real f-1 wander plant that will get very large .
Be exciting to see this new generation of Viper grown in 100 gallon smart pots ! as the blackseed roots like Mad .
The Burmese Pure line was exceptionally inbred when I got it and the God bud and the Burmese are my slowest veg of the year .
Very excited to watch you all grow these out , I will do my best to try to get the Pure back in form .

Charles
Ps that was Oregon 90
