I look at them all day, And wish I had my Veg cab in another room so I could open it up after my flowered girls go to bed, and still look at pot.
that's a great idea.

hey high, hey hoooo....be tangled and snarled up in high town, checkin on my outa town other grow location site, lookin real good+ wen i call my girls i say baybaybay....baybaybay......moon/the skiddler....

I grow outdoors, both in the garden and guerrilla style at 4 different plots. From germination to final harvest is 6-7 months of obsession. I love germination, I love seeing 'em grow, I love the smell. When the years' last plant is cut and dried I chill wholesale, with a big sigh of relief. Nothing to worry about, bliss.
That lasts for a day or two and then its site preparation for next year, what strains to try, how to improve things................etc...

my first few grows, i treated them like adorable puppies. playing with them, feeding them the finest treats available. bottled water. watching them move with the breeze was so peaceful.

fast forward 12 years or so. 4 grows a year. they are lucky if i remember to turn the lights on and water them once in awhile.

am i jaded? :)

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one in love with her plants! They're out in our rural backyard garden, and we love to visit them, sometimes several times a day, just to be with them. Most of them are 5'-7' tall so far, except the AfGooey which seems to just be a small plant -- does anyone else have experience with her? She sure helps me sleep at night, LOL!

And our Train Wreck this year is double the size of last season; guess that reflects how much we learned since then! I'm trying Bubba Kush this year, as the sample I had was very convincing in its playfulness; can't wait to lovingly sacrifice her to the Ganja Goddess. The cut I got is staying very small; but I heard that there's three phenotypes, and the smallest one is the best. I'll let you know in a month or so!

Hey, do any of you actually talk to your plants? Seems like they all stand up taller and greet us when we come, almost like pets! (with no mobility, obviously!) And sometimes it seems like they're putting ideas in my head, such as more ferts or water needed, etc. It's pretty sweet, and when I follow the inspiration, they just keep getting more beautiful and bountiful!

Nothing better than a safe, legal medical garden in sunny NorCal!

Love to the lovers,
Elk Woman

I love my plants too Elk Woman, and I talk to them. They are living things, and I think should be treated with love and respect like all other living things. I spend hours just looking at them a day, its a bad habit, but passes the time the old lady spends on the compy. I just wish that I could grow at a house and use the sun for my babies. They are doing great under my light, but I want more than anything, to put them into the ground where they belong.
Oh and bump, means to post in a thread for any specific reason. Ei. Bump this thread if your stoned, Bump this thread if you're obsessed with your plants, Bump this thread if you forgot your name cause your weed is so good

Bump!

Bump!

Now I do tend to always want to go check on them when I am in the area.

But one thing is for sure! I love to have a smoke with them whether its good for them or not. They dont seem to ever mind at all. As long as you got good air control and filtration then they shouldnt mind at all :joint:

Also I think the longest Ive sat there was a whole joint worth then immeditly left. I dont stay in too long because I have a paranoia about the soil and dust particles that float around in the rooms. So basicly for me its cool to smoke and check them out for any probs but once done with work and smoking its time to get out for me.

Yea you could say obsessed, I check on em 2-3 times a day,res levels,PH,TDS,trimming into bushes.I'm in veg right now so I've been useing alfalfa juice every other day with a rinse of RO water on the off days...it acts like a growth hormone. Hell, I'll even bring my 2 dogs in to help with co2 levels :muahaha: At least I haven't started singing to em....yet :nono:

hell yeah i find myself pinchin n rubbin my fingers smelling em a lil to much during flowering i love chilling with the ladies truely no other plant like it sometimes i dont even think it could be from this world

If i could fit the rest of the house in to the growroom, I'd move in. Spend all my empty time in my bloom room, probly why I suffer pests a lot! There again I seldom visit the veg room and it gets pests too... Just can't help myself, I'm a indoor-garden addict :)
