Building a Sealed CO2 Enriched Room, Need Advice.

Hey,

I started out growing with a 600w grow and it went great, I did two grows on A11xC99 and had fairly decent yields. I'm interested in upgrading my current unit so that I can take advantage of CO2 enrichment.

The room I'll be building will be sealed, I will be using an ebb n flo system (SOG style) with a res which sits away from the flowering chamber, this is so I can raise temps to where I need them in the flowering chamber without killing the DO levels in my res.

My biggest concern is cooling the enviroment--temperature and co2 levels. , I have the following options.

1. 2x600w air cooled lights + AC system.
2. 1x1000w water cooled light + water chiller.

A dehumidifier will be used no matter which option I go with, also the size of the cabin is flexible depending on the option.

My goal is to maintain optimal CO2 levels, every aspect of the environment will be computer controlled.

My main questions.
1. Which one will give me higher yields, I can do a 3x6 for the 600w or go 4x4 with the 1000w.
2. How much co2 will I loose if I am using both an air cooled hood and a portable AC.
3. Which option would you go with if you wanted to yield 2lb-3lb/grow.

Thanks in advance.
Flux.

i would go with the 3x6 600's if i was you you will have more points of light and the overlap will work to your advantage. If your running air cooled hood you shouldn't lose any if they are sealed. but with the portable ac you will suck anything you use right out the room when it turns on. You'll need to get yourself a dual hose unit to circumvent this problem. If your aiming for 2-3lbs i think you might be setting the bar quite high for you second run but wish the best to you.

A dual hose unit it will be. I guess I was aiming at the lower side of that 2-3lb, I'm moving to an indica, I've managed to get 14oz my first run with 3 plants and 12oz my second with 2 plants (longer veg for the second). These were in 6 gallon DWC buckets.
Thank you for the advice, it is very helpful.

600w sealed, co2... 753 canfan blowing past the HID... ac unit is in the room outside of the sealed cab, routed into the flower room...

If you use a dual hose unit, make sure it doesnt also draw from the body of the unit.I had a fujitronic 9000 BTU portable that for literally years shot my co2 into the attic although the intake hose was through the wall into another room. With co2 enrichment I'd stay away from portable AC's altogether, get window units if possible.3-4000 BTU's per 1K lamp
