Building a co2 system

Your probably right about the 3lb 10oz tree foaf. As everyone knows, CO2 will add 20-30% but I can't really see justifing the hassle before everything else is maximized. I mean think about it; If a guy builds a 3x4 room and feels compeled to add CO2, then why not just build it 4x4 and get the same yield without the hassle?

The only reason I'm trying to add co2 to my setup is my box isn't inside my house, but is outside in a storage area that is not vented at all, no ac, so little to no fresh air is getting in there. I did forsee this as a problem, but one that could be fixed later on.
If I do use co2 it will most likely be during the hot months when the temps are a bit high, earlier this spring when the temps were cool out in the storage area my buds were much better quality then they are now. I could seal up the cab when using co2 during the hot months, then switch back to how I have it setup now with passive intakes

The way I see it, a co2 mod to my cab is gonna enable me to grow during all seasons, and still have good results each time. If I can get by not using co2 all year I will gladly turn it off and save myself the hassle of refilling it once a month.

Well BD, all this was in the name of trying to get from fluff to brick buds.( I'm realising genetics is key with this issue) I had no idea what I was getting into. I'm getting the feeliing it would be cheaper to setup an exhaust fan with a damper on a timer that would bring in some fresh air from the outside and just pay to cool that additional hot air. (No bottles, no hassles, A/C is already working)During the winter when I used fresh air for cooling things were better. And ya know, if this place ain't about trying out new ideas and contraptions and posting the results so others can learn from our mistakes or bad ideas or accomplishments then what are we here for?
I'm not giving up on this idea though. I started it now and I'm ignorent so gonna keep at it. Rather than sustaining a constant ppm of co2 all the time I think I'm heading towards calculating what type of setup would spread a 50# cylinder over a 60 day period. Done bought everything, might as well use it as I really feel some added co2 during these hot days through the end of summer would help.
foaf-Thanks for dropping in. Your software monitoring looks cool. Preciate your insite on all this, the more minds working on it the better the results. I'd like to see the tree, I bet it was awesome.
killa-Glad to see ya man. If only we could pump all the co2 we breath out into the grow my friend, all this would be licked, no tanks and plenty of co2 for the ladies.
Peace
