alrighty, got the 4x4 bed built and in place and filled and 9 plants in and top dressed with build a flower and clover seed sown...16 bags (16 cubic feet) was exactly enough...as far as doing this one bed at a time as space becomes available, and funds are available, getting bags of fresh 3.0 is the way to go...a real time saver, and a back saver...so the bed is in a 4x4 low tide tray on a plywood and 2x4 platform with heavy duty casters....and i can move it which is good...getting the plants out of the pots was the hardest part, they are well rooted...

watered in with trinity and microbe lift...worms have shipped!

so all three beds,2x4,3x3,and 4x4 are wormin',clover seed sewn, and barley mulch applied. planning on picking up the next 4x4 fabric bed next week, along with 16 more bags of 3.0,and building 2 more 4x4 plywood platforms with heavy duty casters...

as noted, the plan is to have three 4x4 beds and four 20 gallon pots in the main flower room.

a little update on the 3x3 and 2x4 beds...

my initial wetting of the soil in the 3x3 was way too much but it's finally dried down and the plants seem much happier,as noted so do the wormies...i think i'll plug one more plant into the middle...also put up some trellis net...this bed is filled with re-amended rootballs that were at least half pro-mix hp,done in my "a little of everything" mix....two kinds of compost, worm castings, dolomite lime, oyster shell flour, gypsum, basalt rock dust, big 6 micros + humates,agsil16 potassium silicate,bio-fish,craft blend and neem seed meal....phew!

i think that's all :D
edit,nope,forgot pumice and rice hulls!

3 gmo and a stoney's kush

onto the 2x4 bed...
yikes! overplanted!
yeah,10 plants probably too much, did some pruning, more tomorrow...and trellis installed..

this bed is filled with 100% once used 3.0,more lightly amended than the 3x3,same stuff though...plants are doing great

2x4 tent 3 weeks into flower...only 8 plants, not 10,still pretty crowded but the plants look good

IMG_20250330_113048688_HDR.jpg

and the 4x4 in main flower...watered this week,a little big bloom and microbe lift, not seeing many gnats, hung 5 yellow sticky traps....clover is coming up

:watchplant: 4x4 bed #2 in place and filled!
fresh 3.0 again,16 bags worth...as last time i top dressed with build a flower and scattered the clover seeds, watered in with 8 gallons with a little trinity for saponins and some kelpy goodness along with microbe lift to head the fungus gnats off from the get go. the trellis screen will go in this weekend when i have time to grab more 1" to 3/4" adapters for pvc since i already have screens built...just in 3/4"

did it a little different this time, once i had a base layer of soil in place i un-potted the plants and placed them then started dumping bags of dirt in around them,so a bit bedraggled after being pushed around...

so,the plan for the next quadrant is to get 4 20-25 gallon fabric pots, use re-amended soil since i have like 80 gallons worth in the drums,3 plants in each, and a 4th pot to veg up one big ass plant, and kinda rotate in biggies as they finish and the next one is ready...

and i'm sure some are wondering...

each 4x4 bed is costing me ballpark 600 bucks...bed,pvc,soil,stuff
but i get a nice discount,30% off...
plus there's the stack of various and sundry dirt wizard stuff, like 20 bags and buckets of little stuff and then the biggies like build a flower, pumice, two kinds of compost, worm castings, rice hulls, and barley straw

oh yeah,i ordered some humate based nutes from bokashi earthworks, the K humate and complex humate along with cal/sil and more microbe+ so the feed plan for the beds will be a tea every two weeks and the humates 2 weeks after that and just water and a little big bloom in between along with the microbe lift or the new turbo gnat killer from build a soil...i think we have that coming into the shop this week...i know we have a bunch of ultra clean commercial cubic yards coming...
