I just learned how time moves faster for gods, so we can't actually see them amongst us.

Do you notice praying before you water, then heavy looking leaves afterwards?
That would be the RO, if you do.

why would ro cause that?

but no,haven't seen that unless it manifest as crinkled leaves, but that's genetics on the plants that have shown anything like that

Osmosis. The salts inside the roots want to attract water, and the lack of salt in the water, offers no resistance. The result can be a rapid movement of water into the roots. Causing a heavy droop, and water movement within the plant, with a low salt count.

At the extreme, droopy watery things, instead of firm perky one's.

the tap water here is super high in calcium, last time i checked it was like 550ppm so all but unusable in it's raw form, and my ro water runs around 50ppm...and it hasn't been a water only run by any means, along with teas they get leftover veg nutes, the general organics line...and at some point i'll spring for bokashi earthworks carbon humate nutes...

but so far so good, the plants seem to be thriving

I have watered plants with RO water for a few decades now and never observed such a thing. Most likely that would occur when humidity is high.

Unc, those plants have that special green! The green of health! I'm looking forward to your results as I'm a big fan of build a soil and use quite a few of their products.

You herb always looks amazing, it will be interesting to see if there are differences in aroma and flavor. That's where I saw the largest gains.

When my dry backs are right the plants will pray even after feeding. Roots that dont get good dry backs will cause droopy plants. It can also cause other issues. Large pots take much longer to dry. I still use a cheap moisture probe to make sure the medium is dry enough at the bottom for a feeding. Dry backs are important.

Blue, hooded, crinkled leaves with hotdog petioles and interveinal margin bleaching. Definitely looks like Buildasoil.

Ask a Buildasoil fan boy why their plants look like that, they'll tell you it's normal.

Ask Buildasoil why your plants look like that, they'll blame your poor microbes. Quajilla extract = antimicrobial soap suds, so maybe they have a point.

Ask anyone else why Buildasoil plants always look like that.. "It's buildasoil what do you expect?"
