The last pics kind of sucked so I opened up the full size images and cut out closeups of some buds.

These are from day 56 12/12, today is actually day 60, getting close to harvest.

Looking really Jummy! Especially the purple hued ones! :)

Yup

The girls are loving it under the leds. They're looking so nice and frosty!

Ya they are heavily frosted this run, look even better in person than in pics, I should play with the camera settings and modes more.

I am not sure if its because of the COBs or the nutes or both. I ran some Nectar For The Gods samples so I cant tell for sure if the difference in frost levels is due to the nutes or the LEDs or a combination.

This next run Im going to be running the LVPKxPre98s and OXs in an organic soil mix with small amounts of Bio Flores, calmag, humic, beneficial bacteria/fungi, molasses, etc. I should be able to tell better this coming run, since the only thing different from what I was doing under the 150 HPS will be the LEDs.

This is just amazing! Great great plants you got there:woohoo:

Thanks Al.

What do you think you will get Dry weight off of the entire grow, and how many plants do u have?

i cant stop staring at your plants, im in shock! those bulbs on the buds (that afghan look) and the HAIRS!

I could go on and on, PLEASE give me a smoke report!!! Maybe make some BHO?

There is 4 girls flowering under the ~104w of COB LEDs this run.

No clue on weight but if I get close to 100 grams Ill be pretty happy with that for the first run with the COBs. The buds seem like they are more dense and solid than under the 150w HPS so they could be hiding some weight due to density at least that is what Im hoping.

Can hardly wait to find out but they have about 10 days to go til harvest maybe more, I might let them go a few days longer since Im not in a rush to get the vegging seedlings into the flower tent. Started this next run a week or so later than last time so I wasnt in a rush to chop, plus I have plenty of bud from last harvest with the 150w HPS still so no need to chop them before their prime.

Made a quick little sketchup of the LED layout in the tent for next round.

Should have pretty good coverage with only a small "dead spot" in each corner.

Yellow=3000K COB
Dark Red=660nm
Red=630nm
Blue=450nm

You're plants are gonna love that! One can live with smaller blind spots! But you have more cobs and drivers right! Did you ever consider using four cobs instead? Something like this:

I::I or I:I:

Maybe you already have so much light so that an extra cob would be contra productive in terms of gr/w, but it would probably give a slightly higher yield. Connecting a dimmer to the four cobs would make you a even more omnipotent God in your eden.. Probably only worth it if you have time and really enjoy to play around..

Soon harvest time! I guess 110 gr, and will keep watching the porn!
And by the way, did you ever try the defoliation thing? I've read a bit about it lately, and think i'm gonna try it out in a near future. Already started to pull the leafs that shades the most.. :)

More COBs would be awesome but my exhaust fan is only rated at 80CFM and I dont want to upgrade to a larger fan due to noise stealth issues. The tent in the closet is nearly completely inaudible and I have never had one person in the room ask about any noise or smell, non-mj friendly family members , etc in the same room as the girls at 9 weeks flower without a clue of whats going on.

Id love to rock 6 3070 AB bin COBs in the tent each at 1400mA, 1 module per square foot would be very intense lighting and would no doubt pump out some incredible sized colas but just not realistic for me at this point due to stealth reasons.
Maybe in the future at a different location/circumstance but for now I cant go higher on the wattage being limited by the exhaust fan.

Nice that would be kick ass but I think I will fall short of that this round I would guess 90 grams but we will see in about 2 weeks.

I am a fan of selective defoliation to strategically allow light to lower buds but I generally keep it to a minimum unless in rare circumstances. I also like to "tuck" fan leaves out of the way to allow light to penetrate to lower branching or bud sites both in veg and flower. I prefer to tuck when possible and defoliate when not possible or not realistic on a larger scale of leaves.

I hear you on the stealth thing! S&P makes some really silent, yet strong fans. I imagine that their most quiet model (19 db) with a silencer would be nearly inaudible.. You could also look at sammy and what he is doing.. He puts the heat sinks in the vent tube, which should evacuate more of the heat.. I'm gonna try the same thing!

Looking forward to your harvest day! it sure looks like more than 90 gr, but hared to tell when you only seen pics without reference object.. Still, 90 Gr of high quality sensimilla is gonna lost you a while! :)

Almost harvest time just a few more days to go. They've had a long "flush" should be pretty smooth smoke.

Those COBs sure are impressive, not as impressive as those buds though. Can't believe that's with only two tiny light sources. Good show.

unreal...

I am still trying to find a site that I can pick up 3070's without having to buy the dozens minimum order.
