bud rot

Here we are, day three of rain, and I'm beginning to get a bit worried about rot. I've never had to deal with rot on large amounts of outdoor so any heads up as to what I should keep my eyes peeled for would be appreciated. From the seasoned outdoor growers perspective, how long has it taken before you typically see rot set into your plants from inclement weather?

watch for dead dying leaves that pull out easy, you see those then the next day you will find that area of bud full of rot, it can spread fast to, it becomes a race between rot and harvesting.

once u see the rot that bud is already toast bc it starts on the inside and works its way out..u will need to keep a close eye on ur plant bc that shit can wipe out ur whole plant in a matter of days..u can also be on the look out for brown mushy buds and a grey whiteish web..it looks like a spider web but its grey mold/bud rot..1 tiny grey spot can carry as much as 60,000 spores that are just waiting to be airborne..i have lost total plants before bc of this shit and next year i will be prepaired..i have study ever organic magazine i can online about botrytis..next year i will only be running outdoor proven strains and on top that i will be useing the prevention plan to keep this shit from ever taking ahold on my plants..i got everthing from neem oil 100%,protekt,greencure,sns244c and actinovate that i will be useing thurout veg on somethings and others i will spray up to week 3-4..i also will be useing plant success soluble to help make my soil healthy bc what i have found online that if u got a healthy soil with plenty of benefical microbes the plant will be able to fight off disease and plauge..there is nothing more hearth-wrenching then going to ur plot to see it just in brown mush and haveing to cut on those beautiful colas..this shit is no joke!! i have also learned that bud rot is alot easier to prevent then trying to treat a infection once u have it..gl
