Swerve...thanks man..yeah the AD's should be huge..the CW's can't handle the high ppms I'm pushing the AD's with..
The AD's just go with it and bulk up..the CW's are showing over-fert symptoms..
This is the highest fert level I've ever given a plant..about 1700 ppm in of organic fert much more PK than N...it don't pay if you don't play..the AD's don't seem to mind but the CW's are saying.."what the hell was that..we're choking on all that food over here..."

jaws..is that a pic ..right on..nice buds..right on par with mine and look just as big..nice..

hey bro thank you for the pic info, it works fine as you can see......ok i'm seeing a problem develope with my AD's there side branches are getting long and the buds are getting heavy, they are starting to lay down on me already....these branches will need support by day 40 i'm sure of that...i was woundering if yours are starting to this as well????

also growdoc,docleaf is this a natural thing with these AD's i have not heard any one say anything about weak stems with this strain...i would love to say its just because the buds are so big and heavy but the truth is there not all that big and heavy just yet.....

but i must say i'm loving growing this strain out, the resin is formine quite nicely and the oder is getting strong but nice...i think this plant will yield good when alls said and done.....

check out this cross bro, i call it purple bastard its parents are "BLACK RUSSIAN" X "DOUBLE PURPLE DOJO"there is no purple color on this plant yet...not sure i will get any seeing how i totaly pollenated this girl, must have 200 big fat seeds on her ........

Hi Jaws, p2p, an all (this is the bubbledust thread,, but hey when in Rome)

...must say, I n I have never seen Angel Dust grown into monsters like those Jaws AD isn't the biggest yeilder, don't expect lbs,, (bubbledust crops more)... all siad Ive seen her reap some nice single colas.



We have known her to overbud if chopped too much in veg, to produce lots of smaller flowers. yet AD's grace is always in the flower's resin not the amount :wink:

As for the stems,,, 1) perhaps energy has been shifted as a result of the seeding? 2) we find that lower stems/branches with some strains tend to grow weak with excess water... how much water are you feeding??,,, I n I say feeding cause water is ALL they should be drinking from now on in... a large cup of water is all those beasts need to keep them mean and keen. If not bound them with string

hummm only water you say, well they still look like they have a ways to go i'm sure the will get another feeding or three before its all said and done.....i have learned if ya want lots of big fat buds you just gotta feed them well......i don't really care about burnt tips (to a point) my main goal is the buds, if there growing and looking great them i just do what i have always done with them......

jaws..hey buddy what's up..post um if you got um I always say..although started as a BD thread..
I use it to post pics of all the grow now..But I still feature Growdoc's Strains here as the stars..
Weak stems and/or bud weight..well I've found using a fan on them 24/7 helps keep um strong..if a branch gets support early on..
it tends to need and rely on the support the rest of it's life..branches that grow up against the wall will fall when you move the plant..
like DL said watery weak stems don't help..the nice thing about a single kola plant is you can tie cord from the main stem to the side branches..
The LST BD I did needed lots of external support..but the single kolas had a straight up main stem ..that only needed some lean support near the end..

Your secondary buds look better than mine right now me thinks..I need to ditch some bottom branches..


Docleaf..I like single kola plants..sure there are better ways to yield and what-not..but that single large kola standing above the rest..beauty
I like the structure..and growing huge buds..gets me more exited about the plant than lots of even sized buds..

Also my lower buds..are in a lot of competition..I'm trying to grow 7 monsters under 1-400W..

lol. sorry I didn't explain myself well.

the branches are looking for light and the pollenated sepals are now taking energy from the plant. Perhaps, the lower buds are kindda jealous of the seeded buds,, lol and so they stretch for light when fed.

Dude. During the final stages of bloom plants require water so as to draw forth trace (secondary) elements made available in soil and in plant. These elements are used up by the plant during the last stages of bloom,,, hence the stripping of leaf from green, to red, (sometimes to purple), to yellow. All this goodness goes str8 to the twisting buds which naturally swell-out (without excess water/ferts). At this point the plant produces the essential oils and hidden resins associated with top-quality organic grass. something hydro growers still can't quite grasp.

Plants that are over-fed are difficult to mature and the leaf tend to stay green with chloroplasts. This is noticable in the smell of the cure, and the time the drying process takes (we are slowly drawing water from the plant during the last 2-3 weeks).

Over fertilized plants tend to develop soft stems due to new cell growth being promoted by a build up of nutes in the soil... which even after curing bend (!)

IMO a water diet for the last 3-4weeks in soil is an essential componant of any organic grow... all said I n I no-longer grow for yield,,, erb is the queen of the jungle, me nah want to abuse her!
