Hey mate, if you let them stand to long then the smoke will put you out, like to sleep. when the trichs flush cloudy in color it is perfect harvest time.

You gonna do a fast dry in case of mold? i dont want to scare you but it is always an issue this time of year.

Growdoc ..I think most of the branches will be removed today..Fast dry yes..a fan till they snap..
then into paper bags before jars..GMT's back-of-the-TV method for samplers..

Awesome looking buds P2P.Come smoke em with me and maybe ill share some of my fan leaves with ya. Bet you wish you could trade all those ugly buds for some beautiful fan leaves Huh?

do not place wind directly on the drying buds, the fan should point up and circulate the air, the buds should be placed out on the floor/table on thick newspaper. The buds should be turned 3-4 times a day, try not to let the buds touch each other when placing them on the newspaper. they should be bone dry by day 3(or feel that way) then you may start putting them in plastic bags overnight, each morning check the temperate and amount of moisture in the buds, it the temp is to high or the moisture is to much then simply poor out the bags back onto the newspaper and let sit for 2-3hrs.

This is a fast commerical dry and is only recomemded for the hobbist when there is fear of mold.

immortal...I would trade..but I'm on a no fan leaf diet right now..

Growdoc...I chopped um..the last samplers from day 65 were zombifying enough..
I don't really have a fan right on them..they are in the closet with the door just cracked open..
with a fan 5 ft away that blows on the door crack..I plan to leave them in there for a couple of days..
then into the paper bags for a few more days..then into glass jars..and yadda yadda...
The smaller buds will probably get put into jars earlier then the big ones..
I'm not fearing the mold so much on the little buds..mostly the kolas
I'm going to keep a close eye and do different things with different buds..I'm always experimenting and learning..

Now don't go around picking up on everyone's bad habbits will ya pack. My tv drying method will do the trick for samplers, but I'm glad your doing it properly for your main crop. Ya know if you are really worried about mold, you can break up your larger cola into smaller buds that will dry quicker. But I reckon you'll bwe fine now. I have only ever found mold in 2 situations, while the plant is still in the ground, and when I put a load of bud in a bag to dry, all buds touching each other with some totally covered with others. It's too late for the first, and you've avoided the 2nd, so I think you should relax now in the knowledge that you've done the job well.

GMT ...I love the TV method for samplers..My mold paranoia was because I wanna keep the kolas intact...
and the news keeps showing these high mold counts...I think I'll be alright..

I hate taking comparison pics..but I wanted to do a couple..the kolas are 3.1 oz (Alfa 90g)(Betty 88g)..
but it's only been 1 Day drying..

It's interesting how both colas will weigh exactly the same once dried, ( 2g will wil be reduced to les than 0.5 grams after all the moisture has finished evapourating).
Have you decided on what your plans are yet regarding moving house? Chasing cash away from home or peace of mind and happiness with less cash back home? What does the missus think? Do you know when yet?

Yeah the Kolas are down to 1oz (28g) each now..Little over 2 ounces per plant..dried..

Probably going with the company...I'm way up on the totum poll there..I hate starting over at a big loss in pay..besides I'll get to experience another part of the country..
