step 1 fill washing machine with about half full of water
2 add a bunch of ice,
take the net bags that come with the machine and fill with trim about 2 thirds full, close well with a safty needle if needed to lock the zip shut
3 put your bubble bags inside each other starting with the 25, then 45, then 73, the 90, then 120, then 160, then 190 then the 220. ideally all these bags will be in a bucket with a drain hole at the bottom.
4 some people put the ice and trim inside the net bag together
5 either way chuck the net bag with trim in the cold ice water and run the machine for about 10 mins first time.
5.1 drain the machine making the water flow into the bags you set up in the bucket with a drain.
6 your hash will be collected in all the different bags. the 220 is just to catch any bits of ice or anything else, then the 190 will have a bit of cooking hash and the 160, will be a bit better, the 120 very good, the 90 super good, the 73 also super good, the 45 also good and the 25 normally only good for cooking.
7 repeat the process at least 2x probably 3x will be worth it.
after collecting the resin from each bag you should flush the bag with cold water in the shower so the bag is clean and doesn't get gunked up.
a spoon is good for collecting the resin off the bags, ideally crumble up the stuff you collect finely and let it dry on some hot dog trays, or non stick backing paper works real well too. don't leave it to dry in 1 big chunk as you risk getting mold inside. also for the best end product don't press it to get the water out, just let it drip off and then crumbled up and left to dry.

Whoa that's alot of work to run 3 pounds. I an a big outdoor trim through a washer but for my indoor stuff I do 4-5poumds bone dry and I use the 5gal bags a trash bin and a drill with a concrete mixing paddle. I don't use ice anymore I use dry ice it's cheap and makes it yield a bit more. Put up scaffolding or whatever to stand above and mix for 10 min, I just throw some tunes on the iPod.
