Hiya Benj --

yeah my buddy used to put his herb in a blender -- increased his return - sure wan't tasty though! lol

I think my favorite is usually the 72, the 45 is better than the 90 here - so far. that can be strain related too.

I still havent gotten melty results, but my crystal ball says my turn is comming.

I keep passing out trying to burn up my crappy non melting stuff till then! LOL well haven't passed out yet, - maybe the occasional head rush.

I gotta lil trim project upcomming:

.

Edit -

I found tis recently - interesting to watch
Specially with a bowl of fine hash,,,,,
and informative too!.

Johnny apple - NEVER press resin thats wet.

you combine the oil and water thats present in the substance and will not be ever able to fully dry out the piece of resin. AKA you will ruin your concentrate.

Papulz: I must agree.....

The fact that the bubble is clumping in storage indicates that it still contained a good quantity of water.

I tend to use the "pressing screen" to dry as you did, but I also use a chamois or pieces of cardboard underneath to absorb the excess water. I also like to flip the pile of hash, it always removes a lot of the water. Once the outside of the large, flipped pile starts to have a sandy/grainy texture, I break up the large clump with a plastic business card and continue flipping.

This seems to get almost all of the water out of the concentrate as the bubble doesn't clump back together.

Another key is: you must get the bubble OUT of the water as quickly as possible. This retains much more of the flavor IME.
