Those are thinner than noodles, will work for just cloning...not for whole grow. But great find and idea!

@ FB,,,Man i've lost count how many time you've offered your great advice on how and
what works for one might not for another. You'll explain how you do it every time
with 100% success. But when you did it the way you should have(per directions) you have 600% failure.

I hope you have that post so you can just copy/paste when needed....lol

K+ to you Bro

in my bubble i get greater than 50% success doing both techniques. someone said it in this thread earlier and i do the same exact thing. set it and forget it . i dont wory about the length of the water line or nothing! i put a dome on it for the first 4 to 10 days and usually after 2 weeks roots are 4 to 5 inches long. my temps vary, i dip in clonex that ive been using for almost 3 years and always seem to not have enough space in my veg room which makes me have to fill the reservior once or twice, but usually once. Oh forgot to mention i use styrofoam circles that i cut my self with a circle drill bit and slit down the middle for easy transplanting into soil.

Well, just to throw it out there. I set up a submerged type bubble cloner 7 days ago today, ad surely 90 percent will succeed. There are a few with roots dangling up to 1cm, but lots and lots have root bumps. I'd say I'll have clones ready to be transplanted into rockwool in 3-4 days. I was using H2O only for the first 6 days, then last night (when I was seeing teeeeeeeeny root bumps on maybe 40%) I added about 1.5ml/gal. of BioBizz Root Juice. I have always sworn by this stuff for its truly astounding effects on plants' root systems. Give it a shot. I promise you won't regret it, and I'm not a big additive person. I only use it very sparingly or the roots get out of control.

Yea I actually built one, the only thing was that I didn't want to spend the time getting the leaks worked out lol. I did it with a large rubbermaid container, and those lids don't seal 100%. Plus before I use it I want to make a solid manifold for the sprayers instead of the flex vinyl hose I used... It's laying around here somewhere, and I'd love to try it. Don't remember how many cutting sites, maybe 72 or something. I think it'll work well, though, once I get it working. It just takes up A LOT more space than the bubbler I have set up now for an equivalent # of clones. I'll have to take some shots of the one I'm using.
It's a pretty cool setup

I never could make a bubble cloner work... But now I just clone straight into coco, and since I use coco to grow, it's real easy. :)

I get about 95 percent with cuts not submerged in the water with my bubbler. I use rapid rooters inside 2" net pots and poke a hole with a chopstick so the cut goes all the way thru the rapid rooter. I use r/o water and set and forget.... usually have roots in 5-7 days coming out the rapid rooter with the main root coming off the stem and submerged in the water. Maybe more work then some do but it works for me!
