Thats true, people make mistakes...but if you have majority of respected growers/breeders agreeing upon something (which is by itself rare, just look into haze threads lol). Than you can be confident on the validity of that information.

Yeah but even mistakes aside, how can something be made legit just because a respected grower said so ?
I don’t mean that as disrespectful but seriously, think about it. If you can’t source something back to anyone initially related , how can something be legit because someone said so ?
I think as growers, we created this problem by putting people on a pedestal as if they are somehow above everyone else and not just people.

The 1's I have are from Ghost and they smell like coffee, to me.
Sorry if 'seed-shill' offends you. I've never sold a cut/bean but have given many, freely, as is tradition.
Bought plenty of beans from CSI, good company, once they 'doubled my order. This time (hawiian lite/citral) they didn't, but more than made up for it in additional freebies and I've sent some to England and some are sitting on my desk waiting for Canada Air to take mail. Some of those S1's have been popped across the pond.
I didn't 'create' bubba. I did share some cuts and even some of my own selections, but that was a LONG time ago. I'm glad that some of NDNguy's G13HP cuts have rooted for others.
