huckster, if you look through this thread there should be a fair bit of infp here and there.

bubba can take quite heavy nutes but imo doesnt really need them and it wont improve the quality/taste/smell of the buds

has massive leaves so doesnt need really bright light, and the pistils brown quite early so best not to throw too much light/heat at them or have the lights too close.

not the fastest grower but can be vigorous when put into as big a pot as you can manage (presuming you are growing in soil)

i will send another batch of these in before the end of june for sure

enjoy,

VG

VG check out my Bubba #7 mom, revegged and scrogged out she's 2.5 weeks into 12/12. I have 4 rooted cuts in veg to keep her around.

Yup, she was the stand out keeper from the first two packs or so that I popped so far (can't remember if I popped 8 or 10 of em).

She had(has) relatively larger buds and yield vs the others with better structure that actually stretched a bit more than the others which I liked, it has a reasonably decent vigor. Clones easy and fast. Above average (excellent in my opinion) smell and taste with good bag appeal and a superb stone.

I had this re-vegged mother that had been pruned back several times and still overgrown my tiny veg cab so I decided to just take cuts and flower it out since it was time to put a new round in the flowering tent anyway.

I was going to just flower it as a bush but I decided to smash this screen down on top of it and try to spread the branches out a bit and it has almost overgrown the screen completely, had to defoliate heavily 3 times already during the stretch and the middle is still quite crowded.

She turned out to be some good smoke first time I grew her out so hopefully this run turns out as good or better. It's already around 4 times the size of the original so hoping it yields decent too.

Those look real nice Bueno! I picked up a five pack of these and can't wait to see how they do, hopefully find a plant like that one.

lovely!, quite a healthy internode stretch there, the pre-98 cut is also capable of that sometimes. i think i can see frosting on the smaller fan leaves? that doesnt generally happen with the cut.
calyx to leaf ratio is awesome from what i can see, some of the S1s seem to give buds a bit more leafy than the cut.
could we get a single bud shot next time you have a chance BT?

thanks again for the pics

Day 42 12/12

Bubba S1 #7, tried to get a better pic of the buds for you VG but I think I need to turn the ISO down a little more next time. The bright light on the tops washes out the details when it's a little over exposed. Next update I will try better settings, but she is not super leafy at all.

So I popped my pack...

Roughly 29 hours from the start of their soak:

About four days from seed and all are up:

So hopefully I won’t return with pics until the start of flower and then again when the girls dress-up and start wearing glittery glossy make-up. :)

Truth is though that I’ll probably be back sooner rather than later. Gonna need some guidance from you gurus out there. I’m going into this with no prior experience with straight-up Bubba. So if I make it through veg OK, I’ll need some help with what I’ve got on my hands come flower time... :watchplant:

Many many thanks VerdantGreen for making these available — and at such a great price! :tiphat:

Oh, and Bueno Time: WOW!
