they look nice! the big one looks very happy and healthy, the small one looks fine too, maybe a little heat stress where the leaves are curling up?

i had a 'runt' when i grew some out but i lost it when i went away for a week - it just got crowded out. always wondered what it would have turned out like.

keep us posted on yours

many thanks

VG

Yes, the small one showed some heat stress, but since none of the other plants were showing it, I figure it will grow out of it.

There is actually another runt that's still under the flouro germ station ... it's tiny.

The big one also had some minor leaf discoloration on the first set of leaves ... I snipped it off and it looks 100% healthy since then.

Looking forward to exploring these.. just getting started. I think I'll probably not top these ... this is a actually a "test lab" that runs apart from my usual op. My goal isn't yield, but just to identify promising plants who's clones will go into full production.

If you don't mind, I'll post an update one in a while ... this is pack 1 of 2, so I'm confident we'll find something to go into the starting lineup.

best,
rabbit

haha change of plans decided to transplant today so this is what i did

1 bag of top soil
1/2 bag sheep compost
2 cup of oatmeal
2 cup of rice hauls
1 cup of used coffee grounds
2 cups of live worms blended all together in my garden then into pot so she's got trillions of active microbes
Transplant fluids home brewed compost tea next transplant about 3 weeks into actual ground

The really nice thing, and this may not be an issue outdoors, is there is no larf. Everything, including the lower buds, is rock hard. I'm growing under 2 400w and I typically have a lot of larfy buds lower on the stalks, not so much with #2.
I am growing Mosca's pre 98 Bubba Kush x Old Time Moonshine, and i noticed that the lower buds are all hard and usable... good to know this is a Bubba trait. I am planning to do some breeding with Bubba, seems to work great in crosses!

Hi Moses,

Your OTBK thread inspired me to grab a pack as well as some of VG's S1's ... I have both running right now. The OTBK's look like really vigorous, fast growing plants ... I should have the first 3 of them (the mosca stuff) sexed within the next two days, so here's hoping for some luck!

The VG S1's are doing good too ... one is a few days into flowering and looks very promising. A smaller one (pictured earlier in the thread) is still in veg and doing pretty good .... I topped it to get two branches going and ensure I would have a cut from the plant for a reserve clone.

I'll put some more pic's up as I go ....

cheers,
rabbit

welcome to icmag

just go to seedbay.com and seedboutique.com and register. you will then be able to buy and/or bid on seeds. most stuff is buy-it-now on seedbay.

but i think verdant green is currently out of stock on the BK S1's..
