Well , after several pm's , chat sessions and tha like , we have decided to go ahead and hatch these beans in hopes of finding that special girl to add to tha stable . If not , just grown out and shit canned . We all shall see what they are capable of , as I have had my doubts about using S1 seed .




Today they go in tha towels innoculated with Superthrive & Liquid Karma :


And put to bed :

I have one bubba s1 and a bubba from a san fran club.. both are on day 5 of flower. I hope to find the goods as well.

hey good day. is the GN ones the same as 3Cs? i have two phenos of 3C BKS1s going. one i finished already and liked a lot! milder odor, number 2 about 3-4 weeks in bud is a lot smellier :)

Yeep Cali Kush . I plan on veggin tha shit outta em , probably 2-3 months , try to get some yeild from these girls . They'll be under 600 wts to start and then grown around a 1000wts sodium and 1000wts blue halide. Gotta get it all , potency , flavor AND yeild!

Hope you get that killer female bubs. Absoluteley beautiful plant to watch grow and the buds are some of the best. Bubba is a pretty heavy feeder so be sure to give her what she needs. 2-3 months veg might be a little too much UNLESS you have the headroom for it of course, but man that would be sweet! If I were you, after getting the seeds popped, I would get the plants going for a few weeks, a month tops, then start flowering. Take clones from that special female and then run a scrog grow with all your new clones. Bubs is an awesome strain for scrog and I think since yield is your main goal here, scrog would be the way to go. Good luck with your seeds, hopefully you'll have a 100% ratio :)

Looking great steel. I've never smoked bubba or any other kushes but i've smoked and grown chemdog and chemdog crosses. I'm not positive on the liniage of the two and if they are actually related in some way as I've read but I know dog is great pot and I'd love to smoke kush too. Good luck bro, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread (my good eye too!,lol)

Hope it goes well. I got a pack of bubba kush and og kush from gypsy last cup. Haven't popped them yet cuz I kinda suck at germination. But I'm eagerly awaiting your progress to see if I can pick up any tips or suggestions. Good luck and bright lights

i think oregon kid used a method other then chemical sex reversal
i am a firm beliver in sts ONLY (maybye cordial silver method) and i think i saw people getting males from o-kids stock,which leads me to believe its not reversed proper..BUT i dunno cause i only grew
3cs s-1s any how GOOD LUCK and if you get herms hit me up i got the real deal "green"
"pre 98" and well we cant trade clones on this board but you get the idea :)

bubba s1 was a real nice grow for me. Not one male. Not one hermie. Smoke was real nice too. The below pic is of a plant that was taken 10 weeks. This plant was already cut and had been drying for a day before the photo was taken. I think you will enjoy them.

Plenty of head room for tha long veg times , but will that time be served well , or should I anticipate a skimpy yeild and in turn adjust my thoughts on vegging for so long? My grow style is vertically hung bare bulbs , so no scrog here .

Darth , I usually soak my seeds for 24-48 hrs . Once tha bean splits , throw em in acoupla layers o' paper towels , moistened in a dark place and check daily . Already have 2 split hulls on my beans !
Colorado , stoked to have ya here with us . Hopefully we won't be runnin into any herms , we shall see . Might haveta take ya up on tha "gift" in tha future though . Sure woulda been cool to do a side by side , but.........
Steel Canaries , how long of a veg , and what was tha yeild ? Looks like some rock hard nugs and covered in trichs . Did you use a cold dump on em or did they turn purple naturally ?

And ebb&flow , let me start by saying that I don't appriciate you comin into my thread , with your 3rd post to start talkin trash . I don't dig your attitude , so you can just check that shit at tha door . And for tha record , these are Orgn Kids "Bubba Kush S1's" if you can't read tha heading . You , as well as my friends here at ICMag will see if this pack o beans is "bunk" , as you say .
