I still think about my old pre 98 clone,,, but honestly I think pk is a very similar cut and pk is better than bubba in the flavour department

You always say this. Purple kush? The two Pk cuts that are popular in America are nothing like bubba.

I had a bit of a timing snafu with a reversal and needed to get her out of the tent a little early to make room for some new ladies waiting to get impregnated by the reversed P98.

Had to take a few plants early, including the P98. The good news, however, is that I've got a shit ton of beans in the works that are going to be fire, including S1's of the P98.

My next few grows are going to be all about pheno hunting through these crosses. In particular, I'm looking forward to the Bandaid Haze 7 x Bubba Kush, the Key Lime Pie x Bubba Kush, Schrom x Bubba Kush, and GG4 x Bubba Kush.

I'll come back to this thread in a couple of months when I have a P98 finishing up for pics, as well as some dried nug shots.

How long did you let yours run? I went 10 last time but think 11 or 12 might be even better...

Im also growing pre98 bubba crossed with 88g13hp (hazemans madness) and selected what looks to be mostly leaning on the bubba mom. Can any of you Bubba experts take a look at my grow and see if she's looking anything like pre98 bubba kush should be.

Alos thx for the advice of taking her to 70days!

She looks gorgeous, but can't really tell from the pics if she's going to lean towards the P98. Looks like a much better yielder, though

I'm hoping to find one that finishes a little faster with a bit more bulk, but still retains much of the nose and high of the BH7 with some of that narcotic body high from Bubba

It's going to be bean city in the Katsu garden

That glue x bubba sounds really interesting. If there’s a plant with the vigor of glue with bubba kush nugs and nose, you’ve found the new bubba 2.0 haha.

I've run the cross before and it is a mighty fine smoke. They compliment each other very nicely with increased bud density from the Bubba (and killer coffee/chocolate/kush flavor) with the bulk of the GG4. One of my favorites for sure...

The ECSD cross throws off some dank phenos as well, with varying combinations of the gas and kush taste and a knock out buzz.

i love P98 so much ive never wanted to grow any P98 crosses but ive made a few. im re-thinking it now and i have some P98 Bubba hit with pollen from Dragons Blood im going to have to get into soon b/c that DB was really excellent bud.
