Brownpants' Citrocity and Very Berry Surprise

DAY 20

I finned/topped the Citrocity seedlings...I want some clones to determine their sex.
The Very Berry Surprise are growing a little slower, but will be finned/topped when they have enough nodes. There seems to be different phenos in the Very Berry grow already, some sativa characteristics and some indica....

Chuck - looks like we will both be enjoying some Citrocity buds around the same time.... :joint: I will have to keep an eye on your grow too.

Day 25

I was able to take 2 clones from bottom of each Citrocity plant, and repotted them into 2 gallon pots with organic soil. They have been moved into my flowering room (12/12 1k HPS) I want to sex them out and then move the females into larger pots.

The Verry Berry Surprise are a little slower growing than the Citrocity. I did however, transplant them into 2 gallon pots with organic soil. They are still under my 400w MH (18/6) until 2 clones from each can be taken.

I like the variety of smells and different phenos from the Verry Berries.... Can't wait to flower them.

Day 12 flowering.

Still Sexing out the plants....found only 1 Citrocity male so far out of 6 total Citrocities planted. The others are definately female. Not too bad of a percentage, 17% male for Citrocity.

The Verry Berry Surprise are slower too show their sex...I have found 5 females so far, with 5 unknowns still to go....probably males.

My soil mix was a little heavy on the nitrogen this time...I was experimenting with a new organic supplement mix. 4-4-4. I added two cups to mix. Now I think 1 cup would have been better...oh well...live and learn. The Verry Berry seem sensitive to the nitrogen, I have some "Claw" symptoms on a few. Here is a pic of the worst.

Lots of fruity aromas....some stinky skunk ones too!

Day 18 Flowering

The Verry Berry Surprise Turned out to be 100% females, 10/10....Looks like the strain has been feminized...

Buds are developing nicely and the claw problems are under control.

can't believe the female/male ratios y'all are getting with the VBS, makes me wanna go plant some right now!!

That's a sweet litle garden ya got there Brownpants, between the smell of the citrocity and the VBS it must be very pleasurable to be in the growroom I bet.

Flowering day 35

Just a couple pics.
Very Berry surprise is out of the closet, it is Blackberry S1 if you haven't heard. Lots of phenotypes in the Blackberries. The Citrocity is growing good, nice plants, I really like them. The smell is very citrous, like grapefruit.

Flowering Day 49

I haven't updated this thread in a while.

I am quite impressed with the Citrocity. They have a wonderful Citrous-like Grapefruit smell that is overwhelming my Flower room in a good way. They also are all uniform, only the 1 phenotype has been observed. I just wish they could be a bit more frosty. :canabis: I can't wait to try these out. :joint:

The Very Berry Surprise (Blackberry S1) has lots of phenotypes. A couple are trying to turn purple, but the summer temps are hampering it I think. I have a couple typical skunk phenos in the mix. One of them was causing me grief by falling down too much....I cut him down early. There are a couple plain looking ones in the mix as well, not really frosty are fruity smelling.

Here are some pics:

Flowering Day 60

Harvest Day! :woohoo:

Manga - My Citrocities smell Like Grapefruit and Oranges, not really Lemony, but definately Citrous-like. The smell is quite strong, I hope the taste is equally strong.

Masshole - Hey man, thanks, I will definately do a smoke report. I have only tried one of the Blackberries so far it smelled like skunk.....but tasted like pine. Smooth and uplifting, but seriously tasted like I was smoking a pine cone. Good thing I have 9 others to try. :joint:

3leg - Yeah, I think I will be getting some blisters with all that trimming. Good thing I just picked up some filter bags to make me some Hashy Goodness.

Here are some highlights from todays Harvest:

Citrocities

Blackberries (S1)

So to Sum things UP: The Very Berry Surprise (Blackberry S1) from 10 seeds I had 10 females each having drastically different phenotypes (Thus the surprise I think) Definately some keepers in the mix, but I won't know for sure until I try them.
The Citrocities were nicely uniform in appearance. I could only see small differences between the plants. I think some smelled like oranges while others smelled like grapefruit. I can't wait to smoke them all.

-Peace- :joint:
