WHat was your pH recently?
How much nitrogen are you giving them?
WHat mixture are you using? Sorry I forgot :(

My PH was 6.5-7 last time I checked. That was 2 waterings ago (after 1st feeding). Iguana Bloom is a 4-3-6 mix I believe, so I guess I'm giving them 4 somethings.

I've watered my plants twice with nutrient water. The feedings were 5 days apart from each other (its how often I've been watering).
Feeding #1: 5ml/gal Iguana Bloom, 4 ml/gal cal-mag
Feeding #2: 5ml/gal Iguana Bloom, 2.5 ml cal-mag, 10 ml/gal Microblast

question do you mix up your ocean forest before using it? like dump the whole bag into a bin and mix it all up good?

because i do and plant seeds dierectly into it and tey dont burn? but i hear BBC is a very light nute plant. i would for future growsgerminate the seeds in just light wrrior it works good like that and after two weeks give some food a little and then put them into ffoc cut with perlite in a 5:1 ratio ffof5:perlite1

this is i know a little late in the thread but it really helps out if you dump tour bags of any FF soils or soiless mixes and mix em up real good before you use em. hell i think stitch told me bout that if i recall....

Cut back on your microblast, you have a buildup of calcium magnesium, also known as hard water.....

I would use around 4 or 5 ml of the microblast.......
Also check the pH again.
It looks a little similar to hard water damage..... so I would ease up on the microblast and check the pH to make sure it's not out of range....

Ok I'll give 5 ml of microblast, 2.5 ml cal-mag, and 2.5 ml Iguana bloom tomorrow. Should I ever water with just plain RO water??

I'm worried I might over-do the Iguana bloom at some point because I've read that a lot of people give too much nitrogen in flowering. Should I be cutting back on the iguana bloom at some point?

Edit I've mis-typed earlier and told you that I was feeding with 5 ml/gal of Iguana bloom. I'm actually feeding with 2.5/ml per gallon.

Also is it normal for the buds to kind of smell like my nutrient water?

Yes, you should always water in between feedings, or feed 2 times in a row and 3rd time plain RO water, this helps remove buildups in the soil/soiless mixtures.

I would flush out your plant a little bit, are you not watering them with plain water sometimes? so every time you water you give them food?

So far I have given them food for two waterings in a row. I knew I had to be doing something wrong. I'll water with plain RO tomorrow instead of nutes.

I watered them all today with plain RO water and my PH is about 7 now. I use the liquid dropper test and I also use pool test strips. The liquid dropper said I was 7 or maybe higher, but the pool test strip was between 6.8 and 7.2

Thanks stitch

Ok now my biggest plant is starting to yellow from the bottom up. I don't know whether its over-fed or under-fed because I gave it 2 feedings in a row... but the nutrient with nitrogen in it was 2.5ml/gal of Iguana Bloom.

Feeding 1: 2.5 ml Iguana Bloom, 4 ml cal-mag
Feeding 2: 2.5 ml Iguana Bloom, 2.5 ml cal-mag, 10 ml Microblast
Feeding 3: Plain RO water til runoff (2 days ago)

I think I'm on day 28 of flower

Can you tell if I over-fed this plant or if it needs more Iguana bloom?

I've been giving them 2.5 ml cal-mag, but didn't we say that there was a build-up of calcium & magnesium? I know I showed you a picture of another plant... but I gave them both the same amounts. My other cheese plant isn't going yellow like this either. All plants are different though I guess..

If you're judging by that picture in the bottom left... i'm pretty sure the brown spots around the edges were there weeks before this yellowing started. I have seen some new browning elsewhere though. So if you're certain, then I will give as much cal-mag as you tell me next watering.

The plant has been getting worse since I watered with plain RO so you must be right. How much cal-mag should I use with my next watering?

Yes it looks like nitrogen/ magneisum...., I would get some nitrogen and give it a very small dose of it just this once for now. The one pic looks like a magneisum problem....

The plant was getting worse when you used plain RO? If it got worse with plain RO water then it's a micronutrient problem, possibly a lockout... I would give it a little more time to try to recover first before doing anything else...... the main problem I see more than now is nitrogen, the one pic confuses me though.... so for now I would give a small dose of nitrogen.

I meant that the yellowing got worse when I used plain RO water. There is no other browning like in that one picture so I'm sorry that it confused you. The leaves do eventually turn brown though, but its not until they're all shriveled. I'll take some more pictures tomorrow to try and clear things up.

The shriveled leaves is what happens in flowering after the plant has removed all nitrogen from the leaves, it just turns into a necrotic color, because the tissue is now dead and what you see is what happens after the fact.

Ok so would 2.5 ml/gal of Iguana bloom only be sufficient for the next watering? Should I not use cal-mag or Microblast?

I would not use the microblast for now and just use the cal mag but use small amounts.

Ya the bloom amount will be fine, the plant has a lot of nutrients stored in there so the less amount sometimes can be good.

I believe these pictures show signs of moisture stress a short while ago (the rams horn leaves)-- am I right? Or was it previously too much nitrogen? I need to figure out if I was previously overwatering or I was previously over-nitrogen-ing.

This is the top of the one with the yellowing at the bottom

This is my other cheese plant that you can see I fim'd right before flowering
