broken stem at day 31 of 12/12... what would you do ?

Hi all. I'm usually helping others in this forum, but right now, i need your advice...
Today i had to move my plants from their room, in this delicate operation, a stem of one of my ladies broke up. The bud was hanging, so i quickly fixed it with a rope i closely tied to the main stem.
Will able to upload a pic in a half hour.
What would you do ? Would you simply cut the bud or is it worth trying to fix it properly, and how ?

Thanks for helping.

Tape it up, like a cast, over the break. Even if 2/3 of the stem is broken it has a good chance of survival. Move it to the side so the broken bud is not directly under the light. no worries

Hi fideralala and Surfnfisher, and thank you.
I ve to say this kinda upset me.
A guy had to come at my place, and not only this guy never came, but when moving the plants so he wont see em, i also broke this damn stem.
I'm more zen now, so i dediced trying to fix this, see how it will go and make my final decision in 2/3 days.
I uploaded you some pics.

How i fixed it :

The "bunch of buds" it's making now. Broken nug is at right :

Thaks you both.

I break stems occasionally. I tape them up with duct tape and they grow just fine. You might want to put a stake in the pot and support the damaged limb with a stake. Tying the branches together like that isn't really a real good long-term solution.

If there is still a connection of the right tissue type it will be fine and regrow and swell up to accommodate compromised structure etc.

Just prop it up and make sure it doesn't flop lol.

You can make healthy stems swell and harden by softening the stem between your fingers too.
