Bringing out the blueberries

I just don't see how that adds up to 2.4 ec.

Looks great and it doesn't seem like it would be too much at all. Just not sure what's spiking it to 2.4 ec. Is the meter a curate?

Also I quit the LK after the 3rd week flower.

I think its best to try one variable at a time. I have used PBP for over a decade and have noticed in grow that I haven't been getting good results but in bloom its always come through better than anything else I've run. If I cant get it together pretty quick I will switch to some maxi grow I have on hand.

1-I was watering at 2.2ec not 2.4, just checked. Also was watering at 6.2 (couldn't remember where coco needed to be but someone recommended 5.8-6.2, noted). I remixed nutes as follows

RO
5ml/g Calmag (was about 6ml and comes to 270ppm (700 scale) (meters are bluelab and recently calibrates)
15ml/g PBP Grow
10ml/g LK
2ml/g hydroguard
5ml/g silica blast
Comes to 1.8ec and 1270ppm (700S) Ph'd to 5.8

Plants are small only a few weeks old maybe a month on the f13's. Other plants only showing slight overwater and good since they were uprooted and transplanted. Roots area looking very healthy on the f13, I pulled both. Still in solo cups and not bound. I'm going to try and charge camera shortly might have to get that tomorrow. I was worried the roots were getting cold so there's an air gap now and I have decreased watering to once per day max and trying to wait for the coco to dry on top before watering.

Both of the f13 look upset. I have noted the overwatering on a couple Sour Og and will try to give them a break. I've read that if you let coco dry out that it can buildup and cause lockout. I will try to remember to test the runoff next watering too.

Light is a 250w HLG knockoff sitting about 20 inches overtop. I normally keep it at the top of the tent but with the temps dropping I wanted to see if it would help. Also have assorted seedlings in promix which are exploding and will probably catch these. I have started feeding them the same but will only feed nutes once or twice a week with water only in between.

Didn't mean to hijack but figured I'd check since you've been running the blues. Thanks everyone! Really want to get this to come out right this time and pretty concerned as I want to get a good rooted cutting. Still pissed for years after the last one was lost even though it was hermie prone. Was some of my all time favorite smoke.

Cheers
LT

I'll get a few pics and PPFD when I can.

edit:
tried this ppfd app its all over the place but looks like 600 but there might be one spot where its 1000. Ill keep the f13 away from that spot.

Try this. Get that par down to 300 for the f13's. Its amazing what 300 to 500 par can do in veg. But stressed plants should be on the lower side. Then let the coir dry completely. Next feed about 2ec/6.0ph of base nutrients to 100% runoff. So if it takes 250ml to get run off, give another 250ml to reset the medium cations and ph.

Be patient, dont raise the light intensity until they show positive healthy growth. Then increase light slowly, ideally 2% per day.

I put them on the very back out from under the panel but still in a decent spot. I actually thought the par would be higher but its a knock off. I did see uneven distribution of light and considering getting the bars next time vs qb style. Thanks I thought there was a proper way to reset the medium. I'll dry and do that.

I have 3 unsexed Sweet Pink I started but not sure I'll have room. They look much better but are the ones in pro mix. Have been pretty lazy on Ph'ing too will stay on it. Insane smells coming from the stem on one of these f13.

Thanks

BLUE DIGIBERRY F2

Bred by VerdantGreen

Narrow leaf side with an astringent, antiseptic blueberry nose.

Early finisher around day 50 or so. Leaf fade is 100% purple too.

So on the yellow and discolored leaves I flip them on their side and the underside of most of the affected leaves are pretty dark purple could that have caused the yellowing?

There are still spots and the lower leaves on one are curling under, not like leaf tip but the serrations. I am guessing overwatering?

I dont have much experience with purple/blue lines wondering about the leaf issue. I feel like I want to pull them and transplant to promix almost.

Heres a shot of the only deathstar bx female. Popped 14 seeds and they all hermed after 2 weeks into flower except this one. She passed the stress test and did n t herm. I threw her back i to veg for a month and now shes 10 days into flower and about 2 ft tall.

nice plants, still the blue digiberry is one of the strains i still want. VerdantGreen any plans for fresh beans in 2022. i have to budget way ahead of time. thx

Thanks, they are nice plants. Healthy and vigorous. The sativa didnt carry the blueberry but is heavy on menthol, camphor, mint and hints of berry. Dj was just over and got a chance to check out the broad leaf pheno, its still a ways from harvest, but he noted the anise (licorice) aroma on it.

Purple undersides are genetic on the blue lines. Im sure I got a pic in here of some already, or on my ig feed.

Overwatering sounds possible with the leaf curl under. Try what i suggested earlier with the dry cycles and 100% flush.

Glad you found a solid gal, labor of love my friend!

For clarity, the d star bc were solid. Those are d star bc f2 which were the hermie mess. The whorled phylotaxy male that grew 100% stable passed on hermaphrodites to all lines i tested with it. Lesson learned, keep new male testing on small scale, till proven stable.

Ive still got a bunch in the fridge to pop once i het more space to work with. This girl has a nice smell though. Doesnt smell overly loud atm. Not quite skunky but still has a slight stank in the stem rub. Threw one bladed leaves for the longest while reverting back to veg.

I grew a Breeders choice 2 female for a bit that had a great smell and high, but a bit mild on flavor - light berry note after a few months curing. I've got a decent selection of new DJ lines to test out.. am wondering which might bring the strongest flavors - have BCM1/2/3, old time moonshine, flo, & first light. I'm not too concerned with it being the "blueberry of legend" - just after a potential blue line keeper with strong flavors of any variety - I know the high will be great either way ;)

Can't go wrong any way, but for flavor I'd start with otm, then fl, bcm1, for the happy pussy lineage. For enhanced flavors maybe try some outcrossing too. Or I know a guy who specializes in that if you want a head start.😉

Awesome, appreciate the info! Yeah OTM and FL were the two I was thinking of testing out next. Hah for sure - you've got some nice crosses!
