it's hard Nordsman,, to know what to grow,,, you are from UK correct? Your use of the word brilliant gave that away.. do not set your sights on F1's or etc,,, but instead honestly lat down your requirements,,, does the individual need to be resistant to mold or etc? and what is the latest date you think you can safely harvest at what latitude and etc?

The best is researching the scene,, you are not the first to pull off crops there be it UK or even points north... there should already be some information at your fingertips about what works there - going outside of that shows some balls,, usually only researched by folk who can afford to fail ..

sue me,, :p ,,, but the fact remains,, their is ample success stories from said province,,, go too far outside that and get caught with your dick out over the chopping block ..

there is no new pant that can somehow magically do better than what your peers have been doing.. you have constraints,, heed them.. do your best inside of what others are doing... if you are fat and dont care what happens then fuck it grow blue dream or salmon creek,, but better be prepared to be spanked when mother nature intervenes

^ a Blue Dream x Big Bud and/or a Big Bud x Blue Dream would be insane for fat commercial, if it hasn't been done already...

Tom - I was only joking because of your guess the OP is British for his use of brilliance/brilliant.

On topic, I've been growing in Manitoba for a few years and find that exceptional mold resistance is needed as things cool off considerably come late August and September, it also tends to rain more during this time which is double trouble for mold.

Strains bred for the BC climate tend to fair well here as do Manitoba bred strains Fast Manitoba, Lethal Purple, etc come to mind.. Mighty Mite and hybrids should also lead to outdoor success.

Not a big smoker I don't need much for personal. I enjoy the gardening aspects of it just as much if not more than actually smoking. I'll pobly just get 3-4 of the proven true north varieties and let them open pollinate and save the seeds from the best one for the next season. Wouldn't bother me one bit if my stock is all seeded out.

I'll do some micro indoor for the winter and keep that sensi.

Seems to make the most logical progression.

But thanks eveyone for the input. Been really helpful .most apreciated .

for the record there are no big buckets... just huge containers and a few companies that are getting fat off the info giving credit to some entity that never existed lol..

grow in your 5 gallon buckets and get quarter pounds bro,, it's been working since moses got high on mushrooms.

yes and it is extremely resinous,, and it does really well by late september while the best of the bunch (bluedream) is doing 5 pounds in the third week of october berrywhite is doing 4 pounds by the third week of september,,, this is a valuable plant it looks the part... it is more a morning smoke to me but the masses gobble it up.

Rcmc has a few guerilla gold crosses for sale that are probably good. I think guerilla gold #3 by smoke-a-lot would be a good choice for you.
