pan, I believe vietnamese and beasters are one and the same and I bet it is the same stuff you get there that we have here. There are two types, the dry and the wet and both are super dense, heavy nugs that both taste bad because of being pumped full of chemicals and not leached at all. Mostly the lower quality gets shipped to the USA unfortunately, but luckily with the Canadian and US dollar almost worth the exact same you will probably will see less down where you are. It's not worth the risk anymore to send it with the US dolar so low. THey can get more for it still, but it was much better then the US dollar was so much higher. This fact alone has flooded Canada with this crap unfortunately.
The strain they are using the most is M39. There is two types and I don't know which one is M39. One is light green and very crystally and the lower quality is dark with tons of red hair. Both can be dry or wet, depending on where it is going.

^^That's it exactly^^ That is the better of the two kinds. The other is just as dense but tastes even worse and has tons of red hair. Also much darker. Some batches I have got actually taste of burn't hair. Those batches went back. I asked my vietnamese buddy why don't they just do the better stuff all the time and he said because it is a huge producer, but the best part is it finishes budding in 5 weeks flat! Usually the dark stuff is much cheaper, as low as $1500.00 a pound lately. But that price is probably only here in Canada.
A lot of that is grown in Toronto in apartment buildings that include hydro. Also, a lot comes from Hamilton and even as far as Vacouver. Most is grown in moderate sized apartment grows and then put together into shipments. It is weird though, because they are grown in so many different locations and they all look exactly the same, almost like it was all from the same room. I believe it is the grow process they use and the fact they all use the same strains. Also, they pump it full of chemicals. They use hydrogen peroxide a lot with their watering. I never heard of that before, but he says it makes them instantly look healthier when they are under heat stress, which happens often. They don't use air cooled hoods - too expensive and time consuming. They want to set up and tear down quickly. That is what makes these growers so dangerous. Growing in an apartment complex with hundreds of other people and doing a rush job just doesn't sit well with me. There are far too many innocent people and families that could potentially be harmed. Its operations like this that make all of us growers look bad.

Yep M39 is all over montreal and quebec,always has been and probably always will(local strain ), just like TGT said, its a good cash crop, heavey producer-most importantly like he pointed out is that its a very fast finisher hence the name -it is done around 39 days flower . Although ive been around that strain for too long-it makes me sick to smoke-i hate itbut it get you high-the city is flooded with it,and people are always trying to unload it on everyone-i i wish more of the big suppliers would ditch that strain and find another fast finishing commercial bud--but alot are just old school and if its not broke dont fix it. people will still keep on buying it
when i hear people pay 3300$ lb it blows my mind . here you can get a m39lb for like 1500$ even cheaper if u buy quantity. This is indoor. outdoor m39 is around aswel..seasonal of course..and that might be the Darker looking kind TGT was talking about .you can grab a lb of outs for like1000$ if its around. same with freezland---super cheap weed.
as for some street prices :
1 g 10$ (alot of losers still give .7,.8 for 10$ )

1 oz 190$-220$
1 P 1400- 2800$ (anywhere in between,pending on quality, and time of year)
these average street prices are for indoor,outdoors would be even cheaper,mind you it helps to know good people .

Also: i would also suggest you not sell if you had to ask. Things like that can turn on you at any time, especially when you start, and your starting big.

it is a common misconception that the reason it is called m-39 is its supposed 39 day flowering cycle, that is not true. m-39 is a strain from sensi ( S.S.S.C was their name at the time) back in the early 80's they listed the strains as numbers instead of names and m-39 happened to be the name of their, skunk #1 x NL (or "basic") #5 hybrid just happened to be number 39 out of the 80 strains avail. in their catalog back in the early 80's

If you believe some of the prices they post in high times, some people are paying like 800 bucks a oz of strains like blueberry and strawberry cough, ive gotten strawberry cough and I only paid like 200 for it, i don't think it was premo home grown tho didn't taste or smell like strawberries..

Um...I don't know about you guys but I like good weed. If you guys say Viet weed is nasty, why even buy it?
I like to smoke weed that has the following characteristics:
a) Sticky
b) Lots of crystals
c) Dense
I'm sure you enjoy good bud but you get what you pay for, imo. When someone pays $45-50 for an 1/8 of Purple Kush, it will be real good where I'm from.

It has a realy harsh taste from the chemicals, but if your broke or dont know the right people than at least you got somthing right.

all of these prices are dependant on the strain your providing, meaning to say you cant sell that brick crap or say ARIZONA the same as a NYCD , SSH or the like. anyone who knows thier dank is gonna know good from bad.
on my first run i gave alot of mien away to see what was what, didnt tell most folks where it came from so i could get and honest opinion, once it was good to go, i knew what to charge if at all.
