Microwido said:Street price of weed is
1/8 = dub = 50 or 60$
1/4 = $100
1/2 = $170
1 ounce = onion = $300
An interesting note is weed use to be WAY cheaper. I use to buy 1/2 pound for $550.
The major turning point in weed distribution is linked directly to 9/11/2001. After this date virtually all mexican brick weed stopped showing up and effectivley double how much I have to pay to buy weed. Now the only growers of marijane are located inside the USA.

Usually for good stuff the prices around here are as follows:
Half quarter $35.00
Quarter Oz. $70.00 but if you know someone $60.00
Half Oz. $100.00 to $120.00
Oz $200.00 to 220.00
Pound $2400.00
Five pounds or more usually $2000.00 to $2300.00
The above is for really nice weed. You can pay a lot less for 'Beasters' or something not that great. There have recently been weed coming from Quebec and Vancouver area that is biker weed and not that bad. It's about the same price as 'Beasters' but not as chemmy and just as potent or better. It seems to be taking over the Beasters reign over the market for the last decade now. It too is much cheaper.
Just some info from the Toronto area and around.

About fifteen years ago pounds were going for 2800 to 3000 for killer and usually it was fairly damp, but still cut and burn. Then the vietnamese bunk rolled in about five years later and lowered the price considerably because there was tons available and it was always dry, unlike the 'hydro' that was around at the time. This lasted until just a couple years ago. Eventually people started getting sick and realized it wasn't even close to good compared to other stuff. Really it was so profitable for the vietnamese because it was so dry and much cheaper plus supply almost met demand, but the buzz was never really that great. Sometimes you get the odd batch that can be considered good. Now people realize this lack of quality and harsh taste and don't want it any more. My vietnamese buddy sits on pounds for months now and can't get rid of it for 1700 a pound. Now prices of the good stuff started to increase again. I wonder if there is a trend that weed prices fluctuate up and down over a period of years? I guess I haven't been in the business long enough to see if this trend repeats. Anyone know?
